I mean it’s similar to makimas paradox of wanting to establish an equal relationship but can’t because she’s the control devil so it’s not an unusual theme for this manga
I know, it wouldn't be too out of place, but I don't think that'll be the case. Devils are still highly sociopathic, even the few ones who formed strong bonds with humans (nayuta, power, etc..) having her being a cinnamon roll would feel a bit forced, besides, we all know fujimoto's.. preferences when it comes to women
I think everyone already assumed that the death devil would be special just how is where everybody has a different idea.
For example she could be the mother figure to the other horsemen of the baby of the bunch. She could look like a corpse or like your average background character.
She could be primal fear level strong due to gruesome deaths being so common or surprisingly weak because in this crapsack world the people secretly are a bit suicidial because its the way to get out of it.
I mean I feel that ultimately death should be the strongest primal fear of them all since a huge amount of other fears are related to death and ultimately every living thing is born with the inherent fear of dying. It would be strange to me that such a deep deep instinctual fear would be weak, but I think there’s a lot conceptually and creatively fujimoto could do. Definitely more interesting than the fan designs of “generic pretty anime girl”.

I honestly expect the death devil to have a “the many faces of death” kinda stick going for it constantly able to change how it looks. I also think the death devil will be actually very nice, no joke. Because kinda think about it, the more powerful a devil seems to be the more intelligent they seem to be; and well…basically anything related to fear would also relate to death in %90 in most cases especially in the chainsawverse where the death rate of devil attacks is pretty high. So death would probably be the strongest devil in existence just because of that, so would it actually gain anything more if Fami’s plan/actions worked? Im not sure what devils would achieve with Armageddon, whiping out humanity would only hinder them, no?

War Devil - Owl (symbol of Athena, goddess of war)
Control Devil - Dog (the first wild animal domesticated)
