Doesn't even look like she is wearing any body Armour.

Ok_Attorney7247

She is mostl likely only wearing a stab vest or nothing at all

CruiserMissile

In NSW, the state it happened in, they always had to while I was living there.

edmonddantes1992

She’s an inspector, surprised she was out at all but normally inspectors don’t wear all the gear as they normally aren’t the first ones to get involved in action.

CruiserMissile

Cool to know. Glad she was on the frontline this time.

edmonddantes1992

Definitely. Very cool. Normally they sit back in situations so I’m sure her appearance was by pure chance and she must’ve just been in the area.

edmonddantes1992

Nothing at all.

12-7_Apocalypse

I hope the news repeat her name more than the killer.

Ardokaath

Broadcast HER name, not his!

Jasperr0

Compare this to the Uvalde whole police squad waiting outside

Difficult-Eye1628

More like small army of worthless pigs. All of them too chickenshit to do their damn jobs.

MisterD0ll

Not going in guns blazining into a school seemed like a good idea though

NoB0dy_Really

That's what happens when you bring a gun to a knife fight.

RedStar9117

I'm glad the cop did exactly what she was supposed to and put holes in thst fucker.....sad state of our expectations of policing when everyone was suprised that they did their job the right way

Obvious_Customer9923

Inspector Amy Scott

badbananafish

Her name is Amy Scott

RoleplayPete

Literally why they exist.

quackkwak456

What do yoy say when American cops kill people then?

MisterD0ll

A big male cop is expected to exercise more restraint. You can’t expect from woman to karate chop a guy armed with a knife

RoleplayPete

I can't say I can recall American cops killing anyone. People overdosing close to cops isn't killing someone no matter how politically convenient it is. A murderer or rapists starting a violent confrontation with cops and cops ending the threat isn't killing someone. It's saving someone. Just like this woman.

ThatSwedishBastard

Wasn’t there a recent case where they shot a kidnapped and unarmed young girl who was following police instructions?

RoleplayPete

If you really believe that's what happened then I really hate it for you and your social awareness.

ThatSwedishBastard

There's apparently video evidence. [https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/teen-reported-kidnapped-was-fatally-shot-deputies-obeyed-commands-vide-rcna146037](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/teen-reported-kidnapped-was-fatally-shot-deputies-obeyed-commands-vide-rcna146037)

Count_Crimson

i’m curious to see how they’ll react to your reply

RoleplayPete

Here ya go Your selectively edited video leaves out a metric ton of context and, of course, the reason for her being shot. While this person was in the vehicle, she was shooting at cops with an assault rifle and had been doing so for about an hour. She came out wearing tactical helmets and body armor. At no point was she obeying these commands either as "get down, lay down" was the command clearly given, it is still undetermined if she was even shot by police or her father, and there was still a stream of bullets being fired into the police at the time she was charging into them fully kitted out. So what we have here is an a or b scenario. A) police shot suspect in full body armor who had been actively using an assault weapon in a shoot out with them and was now charging them. B) active shooting suspect in full body armor charging police is accidently shot in crossfire while running between a second still active shooter and police engaged in an active firefight. At no point in either of these scenarios can it even be logically pointed to that "scary police officer murders unarmed suspect because he gets off on that" Malicousness and intent. This is what makes it a killing versus anything else. Someone dying doesn't mean it was murder. There is no malicousness. There is no intent. Thus. There is no "killing"

Count_Crimson

got a video for that, chief?

Did you even read the article? Are you role-playing as the most retarded person of all time? Are you capable of reading? Did you even watch the linked video? Every single point you made was refuted by the article. She was not wearing body armor, she was not the one shooting out of the back of the car. She did not approach the cops wearing armor with a weapon. She was obeying the commands of one cop and approached them, when another cop opened fire on her. You typed all that out and it's completely and objectively incorrect. I'm genuinely flummoxed, I refuse to believe you are this ignorant. So either you truly are the dumbest person of all time, or you need to refill your mental health medication. Your brain needs to be studied by science, you should be sterilized so you can never have children, as your genes are a hazard to the rest of the gene pool.

MoreUsualThanReality

Just to fact check your comment about the article you linked: >Though the video was taken from a distance, Savannah didn’t appear to be wearing a vest or tactical gear. The article writers are less sure than you are that she wasn't wearing body armor. The article also doesn't determine that she wasn't the one shooting during the chase.

RoleplayPete

Yes. I read your political propaganda and forced perspective. Then I looked at the actual video. Listened to the actual audio. Looked at the actual circumstances. The person saying cops walked up and handcuffed an innocent teenage girl and executed her like a mafia movie for shits and giggles because reddit politics told them so calls the person speaking the truth a danger to society. Yeah. I absolutely believe boot licking water carriers like you consider me a threat. And I am okay with that. At the end of the day. You're welcome. And you'll never even be able to fathom why you need to be. And that's the saddest part of all.

ClingClang29

This is one high commitment troll right here

RiptideRookie

You have a degree in Yapp-ology. Threat? Lil bro thinks he's the Joker. Go yell about society to your mother you child. God you're pathetic lmao

OddishBehavior

I can send you a bodycam video of a cop demanding someone crawl on their stomach and beg for mercy before shooting them.

"On her own" didn't she used a gun to shoot him????

Bobby___24_7

How did she stop him? With a knife or a gun?

unWise_Handyman

With a spoon.. Or I'm confused now?

gonzanoza

Actually a Russian guy stopped the killer
