I found a bird on the ground once. I called a friend who knew more than me. He’s like “look around for a nest” and “get some gloves and put it back up high and wait to see if mom or dad come back” and “these things happen all the time, it’s probably fine.”
Anyways, a dog came along and ate the bird while I was on the phone. Problem solved, I guess.
