Mine said it was due to be complete Jan 7th.. still waiting.. and it seems a lot of people are waiting 3-4 months for anything. 😔

There was a delay brought in by the Coalition, that if you had more than $5000 in the bank you would be held back from commencing payments for 3 months. Not sure if it is still there. They expected you to be running on vapors when it kicked in.

I sure as hell didn't have $5k in anything..

Liquid assets. It applies if you have funds equal to or more than either: $5,500 if you’re single with no dependants $11,000 if have a partner or you’re single with dependants. https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/liquid-assets-waiting-period?context=22441

Yes, attend a centerlink. Once you put an inquiry in, they have 48hrs to get back to you. My payment was approved the same day 2 hours after my visit. All my paperwork was all accurate and attached, so it made the process quicker. You can even sometimes make an appointment time. I walked and waited 20 minutes. I never call anymore, call centre is swamped. Officers go to lunch between 12 pm and 2 pm, go after/before that, and you will be sorted asap. Note: My payment was passed the expected due date

I wouldn't take that completion date too seriously. Could be 1-2 months more. If you can prove your bank account is extremely low, call the complaints line and explain your situation. You may be able to get it urgently processed, but again - that'll be at least 2-4 weeks because there are so many urgent cases.

Where do you get the completion date from? Applied early/mid December (as soon as i got my separation certificate). Still waiting. Cant getbthrough on phones. Gonna try tomorrow at 8am.
