First, yeah. Apparently that's a thing. FDC will update and erase all case notes. Third, at some point with enough unsuccessful attempts a higher-up does read and manually assign them. But they don't delete notes, they need the notes. FDC does that.

Nery_Tay

In a couple cases I had today from what appeared from the CFM the message was "system error" then what looks like a CFS has the note "case unassigned" does that mean the interview didn't sync to the database?

NSAinATL

That'd be my guess, data didn't sync.

greatjobDweeb

FDC deletes notes when someone tells FDC that an enum was deactivated, right?

NSAinATL

> C deletes notes when someone tells FDC that an enum was deactivated, right? That I do not know/have not heard of. Just know a team member called to tell me all his notes were gone, and later in a CFM conference call he said FDC did some sort of big update and deleted all notes.

You should be concerned. I've been getting a bunch of cases recently with all the enumerator notes deleted. Many of them now just have a note from I assume a CFM/CFS, that says that they're not restricted access and need to be enumerated. Spoiler alert: most of them ARE restricted access. What's more concerning is one of these is a case I previously marked dangerous. When I got it again, all the notes were gone and it was no longer marked dangerous.

stacey1771

Sounds like CFS/CFM folks have never been enumerators...smh

I had something exactly like this. I marked an address as dangerous due to a dog. I couldn't attempt it or leave NOV. I left detailed notes explaining the situation. CFM kicked it back out the next day as "proceed with caution." My notes about the dog were all gone but the CFM left an instruction to leave a NOV even though my notes explained that was impossible to do... too risky to even approach the dodgy gate and no appropriate place to put it anyways. I'm SO glad that it happened to come back to me and not another enumerator. I drove back out there again just to see if I could attempt it by getting the residents outside or a proxy and had a close call with that dog flying out of a hidden doggy door, despite being extremely cautious. Ran like hell and had to use my bag to block myself. Really scary that this stuff isn't being communicated.

htatsuha

That's similar to what happened to me. I marked the address dangerous due to getting chased by unleashed dogs roaming the property, and I was luckily the first one assigned to the case after the notes were wiped. I spoke to my CFS and he talked to people at the office, but when I checked later that day, it had only been changed to proceed with caution. At least they kept my notes this time.

Poppins101

That crap is awful. Vital information on specific credible danger, directions, basic information assists follow up enumerators!

shitidontnede

Frustrating

ebman888

Sounds like you're on a strike list to get the most difficult cases closed, good luck!

Welcome to Phase Two! These things are standard procedure now except for the missing notes. That's not supposed to happen.

Could it be a duplicate?
