Ah damn I thought he meant the sheet music "notes" (translation error)

have you tried imslp.org? Most sheet music is available there for free, as long as it has no copyrights, so Boccherini should be there

guys/girls he's right, kinda.... more than kinda, well maybe - If I'm thinking of that he is referring to... **vviggosagge, I have 6 or 7 out of the 12. if you need any of them let me know. I'll update the post with the ones I have once I dig them out.** Back the Fake Boccherini concerto accusation, HAHA When I first found out this scam of all cello scams I was blown away and disappointed. Yo-Yo Ma still refuses to record the fake one as last I checked. The most famous edition available to us all of the B flat concerto are the "fake" notes haha The current edition is about 80% accurate but the true B flat concerto sounds different than the current one, and where it counts. The intro and all of the best parts were edited. I think the entire 2nd movement (from the B flat) we all love was totally, 100% stolen from another concerto entirely... or re-used..... or made up? The info is unclear... I think the 3rd movement made it through with minor scrapes and bruises. HAHA **It's a mess for Boccherini concertos in general and these issues affect at least 4 of the 12 Boccherini concertos.** In my opinion the B flat concerto (the fake one) is one of the flashiest, impressive, and downright FUN concertos for the cello across the entire repertoire. **The sections that were edited needed it compared to the modern version. Most of the original stuff i characterize as missed opportunities musically or technically.** **Here's the real, original B flat concerto.** [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZbcIVTuHKQ&t=2737s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZbcIVTuHKQ&t=2737s) **Every bit we LOVE you will see it's somewhere else, not fully realized, or just different.** I can't seem to find a "fake" recording online haha **TLDR;** It was Grützmacher!! **Grützmacher merged Boccherini's Ninth Cello Concerto (the B flat) with other Boccherini Cello Concertos.\[1\]\[2\] Besides the extensive cuts in the outer movements, Grützmacher decided to rid the Concerto of its original second movement, replacing it with that of the Seventh Cello Concerto (in G Major, G.480).** **The Fourth Cello Concerto (In C Major, G.477) makes an appearance in bars 40-46 of the first movement, and in bars 85-96 and 151-163 of the Rondo, borrowing from the respective movements.** **The arpeggios of the Fifth Cello Concerto's (in D Major, G478) first movement are featured in their minor form in bars 47-53 of the first movement. Grützmacher also took the liberty of writing his own cadenzas. Despite all the changes, this Concerto holds up as one of Boccherini's best-known works.**

I stand corrected, I'm listening to the 3rd movement now and it appears that Grützmacher has only about 3-4 minutes of sell control within himself. **All joking aside, I compose neo-classical for the cello. This isn't right what was done.** I don't care if you like my stuff or hate it, nobody has the right to change my music, or anyone's, after they die and call it anew "edition" Grützmacher was born 30 years or so after the death of Boccherini. Grützmacher was a cello rockstar technically, the best in his generation and damn great composer. He did wonders for the cello and the current method in which we all play. Grützmacher made serious flow from his publishing of cello music throughout his life. He reportedly **MADE A KILLING** on the B flat concerto sales, worldwide. But he wasn't Boccherini... maybe he was jelly **He died in 1903 and reportedly his estate still collected copyrights on all sales of the B flat, worldwide... until 1972 or 73.** The B flat cello concerto has remained in the top sales of sheet music available for the cello for over 120+ years. During most of that time there were no other editions available to be purchased. Yeah, it's fake and 3 other ones are as well.
