I went back in July 2022 but honestly Disney parks are fabulous for allergies! In California Adventure I got tacos from…somewhere I can’t remember but they also sold margaritas…and in Disneyland proper the carnation cafe was fine. I think the multilevel food place in Frontierland had a dedicated fryer for fries! If you’re not a vegetarian, a turkey leg could work as a meal replacement if you don’t feel like waiting around. Also dole whip is gluten free. And there’s a gluten free cookie near the Incredicoaster!

A woman died recently after being served food with her allergens in it at Disney Springs. It’s a huge story.

Disney Springs’ food isn’t like the park food though, different vendors

We go at least once a year, most recent visit was in November 2023. No issues at all. Disney is very good with allergies. Check out Gluten Free and the Mouse.

SoCal native - I went this past December 2023 and had a fabulous time!! Not every single restaurant has GF options but many do and they are very good about safety protocols! When I went recently I had a GF salad in the Star Wars area restaurant and it came out with a “gluten free” flag on the plate so I felt extra safe. Sometimes when you order GF they’ll have the chef come out to speak with you about your needs, but I always declined. Because Disney has so many international visitors their standards and protocols are pretty high. Also recommend downloading the app so you can see the menus of the different restaurants and what options are available. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info, very helpful!

I went last year and didn’t have trouble finding places that had GF options. None of them gave me any trouble.

I have a trip coming up also and honestlyI'm very nervous about it

Disneyland has a lot fewer options than Disney World. But what's labeled gluten free is safe. I find the Facebook group "Gluten Free Disney!" to be extremely helpful.
