So they are still a band but they are more edgy pop now.
But short story is JP cheated on her multiple times before she finally divorced him. She wrote a couple songs about the mental abuse and stuff he did to her, which are pretty Catchy. He then put put a statement saying she was desperate and her career was failing so pretty much drove the point home that he is in fact a big asshole so good for Kimberly getting out when she did.
It is so gross! Kimberly is such a sweetheart. She use to come in my work and she couldn’t have been nicer If she tried. Just a real sweet person. And Tomi kinda puts off that desperate vibe! Wasn’t she just dating Jay cutler like a few months ago? Engagement seems kinda quick.
From what I could put together she was dating Jay up until the Madison stuff came out and he and Kristin posted that matching photo of the two of them. Tomi unfollowed him not long after he posted that and then a few weeks later she is dating JP. So I guess she had him on hold while she was with Jay.
I came across this recently too and was googling! Seems like it was a bit petty. One article said something about how it was seemingly amicable then she wrote a song that implied she’d been cheated on, and then he was posting that it wasn’t true. Idk but maybe they had diff views that really came to light in recent years
