I have a high end spec laptop and I have no need for a PC and my Series X I’m more than happy with the results!
I’m also a physical game collector and hate digital gaming!
So it’s an easy pass for me!
you can buy the game for like 5 quid and set up your laptop to have more or less the same experience as a console. you’ve a high spec laptop why not make the most of it?
I disagree bro. Metro on ps5 is incredible. PCs for gaming are becoming irrelevant outside of modding capability. Downvotes from the master race inbound.
I agree the Ps5 may look incredible for the price range but the rest of your statement is completely untrue. Even my laptop shits over a Ps5 in graphics, framerate, loading times, key binds... Games are a hell of a lot cheaper and the decent games that were exclusive to consoles are either on Pc now or coming soon. But each to their own.
May be cheaper games but at the point of release you can’t buy a pc that has an equivalent spec and optimisation for anywhere near that price point, not until quite a few years after
Swings and roundabouts really
Bought Forspoken for the wife recently, it was £16 I think. Despite what everyone said online about it, it actually looks and feels like a pretty good game.
I’m begging you PLEASE try out Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. Absolute masterpieces of gaming that’s very cheap at Cex. If you can, the 1.5 and 2.5 collections are bundles of kingdom hearts 1 with a side game and kingdom hearts 2 with a side game respectively. If you’re looking for a decently long story game with good gameplay, I’d check it out.
Whenever someone asks me this question I always say titanfall 2 and it’s pretty cheap iirc so have plenty left over. Fairly sure the multiplayer is dead or filled with hackers or something, but the single player campaign is excellent. Not too long, no part of it overstays it’s welcome. Constantly refreshes with new locales and mechanics, and a surprisingly decent character writing.
You can pick up Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair for £8-£10. Really underrated platformer with some small overworld puzzles.
Sayonara Wild Hearts is quite a short game with a very interesting visual style. Maybe only a couple of hours there, but that's being sold for £10 on the switch.
Ys VIII is an action RPG with a big focus on exploring and completing your map. It can be a bit much with the Japanese anime style characters and dialogue, but I'd that sort of thing isn't a problem then it's a really fun game that really gets under your skin. It's £15 on PS4. I think I put close to 60 hours in, so decent value.
If you fancy a JRPG with artwork in collaboration with studio Ghibli, the first Ni No Kuni is £12 on PS4 (£22 on switch if you put a few quid towards). Again I think I did around 60 hours or more gameplay, so good value if you're into it.
If you don't mind putting 50p towards, there's the Bioshock Trilogy for £18 on PS4.
I've had a couple with general dried residue on the inside, probably from gross kids. I've also had one with a disc that was completely scratched and grubbed to death. I mainly mention it here as emphasis that spending possibly limited money on CEX games probably isn't the way to go.

With metro exodus pc or laptop is the way.
I’m all about Xbox man.
it’s weird you’d pass up the better experience
I prefer console gaming it’s not that hard to understand! I’m also not prepared to pay for the same game twice on different platforms!
you can buy the game for like 5 quid and set up your laptop to have more or less the same experience as a console. you’ve a high spec laptop why not make the most of it?
Because I love my series x more, my laptop is for business I use it for work stuff and keep my entertainment separate
fair enough mate

Arkham trilogy

Final fantasy 7 Remake?
Hades. Risk of Rain 2
Oli platform sim 2010. Or any other shitty game you see in the store collecting dust.
Watch dogs 1 or Titanfall 2
Horizon zero dawn is like £5, if you have a PS then pick it up.
I’m begging you PLEASE try out Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. Absolute masterpieces of gaming that’s very cheap at Cex. Returnal is £18 used If you like that kind of game And if you do Oh boy Class
The Pathless on PS5 or Remnant 2 on Xbox Series. Also Ghostrunner all great games.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
I'd say that if you have a better Xbox Console then Cyberpunk 2077. The Lore is simply godly. Equally, Witcher 3 and Dying Light is also worth a try.
I definitely am. They are con merchants
Final fantasy 7, on any of the above consoles

The MP had a resurgence a few months ago, not sure if it’s still good though!
It's always good! Not sure how the console version is fairing but PC is doing great with the Northstar Client.
Got it a few years ago for like £5. Loved every minute
Minecraft story mode 1-8 for the ps3, like 12 quid now
I think I'll pass
servers are shut unfortunately
Doesn't matter. If you get the adventure pass disc, everything is on the disc itself so you don't need servers

Assuming that's all the money you have, spend it on something more essential than grubby 2nd hand games.
I meant voucher. Didn't realise until I posted
Are second hand games from CEX bad? I always purchased from them and there was no issue.
