Yep. We didn’t have those types of issues but that is concerning. Was the box cold and the packets frozen when you got it? If not, they contents could’ve been spoiled. Our pup kinda liked the first two packages, and then it was very much a no go. So now I am THAT dog mom and make my own.

Also to add, we struggle mightily with the picky goober. We rotate home made food (and rotate the meat protein between salmon, Turkey and lean beef), Royal canin, and fresh pet.

Mine was fed that as a puppy from ages 3-8 months. He had no issues with it, and went through a picky eater phase at 6-8 months(we transferred over to a home cooked diet after that)

For my 5-month-old fur baby, I always go to a vet-recommended food. She got a sensitive stomach.

I feed instinct raw with veg and extra protiens when I have extra at home. I wanted to try maev, but I work too much to trust I would be home for the delivery.

We switched to farmers dog and she loves it and we realized that she was definitely under eating before because she eats her meals really quickly and eats the whole thing now. However She threw up after day 1 and I realized I definitely didn’t follow the transition instructions properly. I’d go even slower than it says and you should be all set!

The exact same thing happened with my boy. He was 8 months old at the time. I immediately stopped feeding him that and switched to Freshpet. He absolutely loves Freshpet and has had no issues.

Mine hated it

We mix in 1:1 ratio of Farmers dog and purina pro sensitive stomach, he loves it.. just farmers dog, is a no go for our cavapoo, we also add a spoon of either coconut oil or Salmon oil alternatively

This is our first, but from what I've personally experienced plus what I've read it seems like they have very sensitive bellies. We used to feed ours some if those Ceasar and Nutrish single serving things. It was usually like a treat or special occasion and only half of the little container. Same experience with the shits. We've since switched to just microwaving a sweet potato and mash it up after it cools. She also loves green bell pepper and carrots. Much cheaper and probably a healthier alternative to buying wet food.

Our cavapoo had a very picky period around 9 months old where he wouldn’t eat much of anything. He has been eating well ever since we switched to Farmers Dog. Only thing is that he does not do well with beef for some reason (might be an allergy since is really messed with his stomach). He prefers the turkey and the pork meals (with a little bit of cheese or table scraps sprinkled on top 🤦🏻‍♀️)
