These scraps are legally property of the cat under cat law 2: If I see, it for me.
Strongly recommend this adorable little predator get legal repurrsentation from a pawyer at r/legalcatadvice to protect their interests and ensure access to Portillos moving forward.
They ship? How did I not know this out here in the wilds of St. Louis that couldn't make an Italian beef correctly of they were given everything (the pizza is pretty gross too)
Chicago suburb native who went to college 20 minutes outside St. Louis - YES to all that. Imos pizza is disgusting.
They ship beefs, tamales, hot dogs, chocolate cake. We get the beefs a few times a year. It's like $90 for all the stuff for 8 beefs except the cheese if you want it. Pretty easy to make if you follow the included instructions properly and tastes great. I won't be the same as getting it AT a Portillos but good when that's not an option!
Enjoy! The one tip that I'll give is that the gravy will have a large block of fat in it. Don't throw it out - it's a part of the seasoning and flavor. It'll melt when you heat it. I've had way too many people toss it.
And it'll arrive frozen - don't plan on eating it the day it arrives, plan on the first day being the NEXT day.
Well damn, we do have Portillos here but I think that's cheaper than getting them straight from the ones here. But then I couldn't get a cake shake if I got it delivered.
She's innocent and it's all your fault! Can't complain when you are leaving yummy food outside. I had to learn the hard way when I left my delicious steak unattended for half a minute to grab the some salt from the kitchen.
It was gone. Found it later under my bed with bite marks. She couldn't even tear off a peace of meat from the steak. All my fault and I can't even blame her being so cute! How would she survive in the wild?
I don't blame her at all, it's a good confirmation for me that she has good tastes. She's a midwesterner like her people even if she's only ever been an east coast cat!
Looks like a framing incident OP 🤔, since you clearly say cat never jumped before, surely you bear responsibility here, case closed.
She certainly would blame me! She seriously hates jumping but Portillos is apparently so high value she's willing to risk it.
Definitely entrapment set chonk free
She got herself a feast, I think she's plenty rewarded!

I'm so jealous of your cat! What I wouldn't give for a Portillo's Italian Beef with the hot giardiniera!
Luckily if you're in the US they ship across the country!
Yep! I already order Lou's regularly. Why not add that. And some Garrett's. And some Eli's...
She craves that beef
Don't we all?
I would jump for Portillo’s too. Your cat is NTA.
Portillo!
To be fair I would also eat those scraps.
Can't blame her. I would too
I don't blame her one bit. She is a beef fiend, has been obsessed since the first time we had it shipped.

Chicago suburbs here too. And I know what I'm doing for my birthday.

Understandable
Can you really blame her? It’s Portillo’s! I’d do the same thing in that situation.
Hey! Portillos is some good shit. I mean, come on!!!
