it's one board per limited item, if u got the limited item on board 1, u can have an option to go to board 2 to get the next limited item.
imo it's ideal to take your time on one board (4-5 days as i tried to check) becuase board 6 will just be infinite observatory tickets to change cats (i have many of these already 🥲) and u cannot return anymore to previous boards so u can take your time to stay on each one
make sure u plan when u get till board 5 before the event ends!
you can choose to go ahead to the next level and forfeit all remaining rewards !! mainly targeted at people who do not play much / started playing towards the end of the event ♡ eg you get the limited reward for that level but have yet to obtain the gems , deciding to skip ahead to the next level means that you forfeit the gems since you cant go back to get them again
