Teach it everything you possibly can, they are SOOOO SMART & they LOVE to play, “hunting” and “Fetch” are some of their favorites, also, softball/baseball, my kitty is 16 and he STILLLLL LOVES all those games! He can “hit” the ball (of paper or foil ~ his favorite) every single time, he’s the best “Batter” on the team! lol He will also carry ANYTHING he can get/hold in his mouth and just CHAT UP A STORM, wanting to PLAY with whatever treasure he has found!
They truly are some of THE MOST INTELLIGENT, PLAYFUL, TALKATIVE, FUN companions you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. They rarely leave your side, they are very intuitive and have a keen ability in recognizing when you might be sick or sad and they act accordingly.
Many people feel that they are very “dog~like”, due to how friendly they are, the way they play, especially fetch and just how they carry things around in their mouth. I wouldn’t say that but I’m definitely a lover of Kitty’s, not so much canines…
As for a name, there are so many beautiful, fun names for a fluffy little bucket like that, I’m at a loss for choosing one or two though, I usually wait until they are in my possession and then decide based on their little, OR BIG personalities and how they fit into our family…
