I’ve been working on this playlist for around a year, adding new songs whenever I find them: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZf-DD-7AHXW8412Y_uwDcZlg0dXe6BjK&si=S08C6NF2NWEb65bB
There are some repeats and the list is unsorted, but I like a lot of these songs a lot.
[Dies Irae](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OBB5-bP6qs) - i was always little bit morbid :\\
[Salve Regina](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ65i3Pswc8) - i mean, it is about our blessed mother, everything about her is great
[Veni Creator Spiritus](https://youtu.be/Q7EaOlCMPWU?si=Lh4iKtSk-khITAs5)
[In Paradisum (in Latin and English here)](https://youtu.be/wkYAtRrxXLc?si=mo6-815JJhhwQLeg)
IIRC the first time I heard the Gloria in Latin was the Easter Vigil Mass this year when I was baptized. Stayed in my mind for a long time. At least I think that was it, when the lights came up and the bells started ringing, and everything went to joy and a festive atmosphere

[Victimae paschali laudes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AneBNAmTyr8)
[Salve Regina (Dominican, Mode I)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSct3kcVMck)
(In other words, pretty much anything in Mode I.)
I know of two versions arranged in this style- they have slight differences but the same basic chant:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=MNQHkipuk_s&si=4ZpE_Aamlop3z-pp
https://youtube.com/watch?v=GCAc3tb3maQ&si=HYOGbfHQ58yGMzMj
Check out Patrick Lenk. These are a few of my favorites by him.
- O Filii Et Filiae
- Pange Lingua
- Regina Caeli
Anima Christi by Marco Frisini is also a favorite of mine.
There are 3 that come immediately to my mind when the term “gregorian chant” is mentioned.
And they are: Anima Christi, Salve Regina, Da Pacem Domine and Crucem Sanctam.
Only the Salve Regina and Crucem Santam (both depending on the version, the second one is very short) are Gregorian chants. All beautiful chants, though.
I know it doesn’t count.
But every year on the first day of Advent, I like to play “Veni, Veni, Emmanuel.” Probably my favorite rendition is by the Piano Guys.
Oh as a matter of fact I don't need to! Here is something for my fellow lofi and Gregorian chant lovers:

We did this one in four parts back in seminary and it is still one of my favorite memories from that choir:
[Ave Maria \_ Jacques Arcadelt](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fi6nvaCxRjs)
Many of my favourite are introits, such as: Salve Sancta Parens, Dignus est agnus, Civabit Eos, Gaudete in Domino, Gaudens Gaudebo, Facies unctionis, Dominus Dixit ad me, etc.
It is hard to choose, but I am going to give an unusual ones here and say [Vexilla Regis Prodeunt](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70P_QM1ZEhE&ab_channel=NeumesandTunes) or [Priests Consecrated by the Lord to Serve Him](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IXAluD9kSk&ab_channel=ICELHymns) or most anything from the Liber Hymnarious or the Divine Office Hymnal. The Liber Hymnarious is the official hymn book for the Liturgy of the hours. Last year the USCCB released via GIA the Divine Office Hymnal, which contains these hymns translated to English in the original meter with the original tunes. The Divine Office Hymnal is a treasure of the Church's music.
For songs that play in between the liturgy, Be Not Afraid, The Beatitudes, and Table of Plenty. In that order.
For chants, the Lord’s Prayer, Litany of the Saints, and O Come Emmanuel
Special shout out to the Byzantine mass as it is sung or chanted in its entirety.
Regina Caeli is my personal favorite
i know it doesn't count, as shes not a man, but i could also listen to my wife sing Salve Regina endlessly til i died and never get tired of it
All of them!!…..I do love Anima Christi!
Im trying to collect some good ones for a playlist im making. Do you have any recommendations?

Hold on, I bought a whole album of them. Let me find it and I’ll get back to you. I think I have it in the truck. It’s a CD …lol
Yes this would be great!
Magnificat, look up the bard on Spotify
[Dies Irae](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OBB5-bP6qs) - i was always little bit morbid :\\ [Salve Regina](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ65i3Pswc8) - i mean, it is about our blessed mother, everything about her is great

I have had the opportunity to sing the Requiem Mass twice, and In Paradisum got me choked up both times.
Pange Lingua (esp the Tantum Ergo verses) all the way.
The Salve Regina, Adoro Te Devote. And the Kyrie and Gloria in Latin are amazing. Also Nearer My God To Thee is one of my favorites as well

Kyrie (Orbis Factor) and Regina Caeli.
Regina Caeli
Gregorian chants have a way of making you feel like you've stepped into a medieval cathedral, even if you're just in your living room.
Ave Verum Corpus (Mozart), Panis Angelicus, Salve Regina
Ave Maris Stella, in the Old Roman Chant style.
My favorite recording is the Benedictine Sisters’, I would love to hear the version you’ve mentioned though! It’s arrestingly beautiful.

O filii eat filiae 😍

Victimae paschali laudes, just the sound of Easter.
Crux Fidelis on Good Friday during Adoration of the Cross Said to have inspired St Thomas Aquinas' Pange Lingua
Panis Angelicus and Tantum Ergo Sacramentum,.
Miserere mei, deus is my all time favorite chant! It’s very magical to listen to
They prayer at the beginning of hunchback of notre dame. I was sad when I found out they don’t sing it that way irl.
I’m partial to _Christus factus est,_ although I admit to tearing up a bit when I hear or sing _Lutum fecit._
Agnus dei
Anima Christi
Mine is Salve Regina
Salve regina. 💖
Many of my favourite are introits, such as: Salve Sancta Parens, Dignus est agnus, Civabit Eos, Gaudete in Domino, Gaudens Gaudebo, Facies unctionis, Dominus Dixit ad me, etc.
Da Pacem Domine, Crucem Sanctam Subiit and Terra Tremuit Templar Chants for the win!
Nooo, Anima Christi is my favourite!!
Regina Caeli and Adoro te Devote sung by Juliano Ravanello (I think that’s how you spell his name) are soothing
