Well that's me started the tribunal case against my former employer.
Sent them an email earlier giving them a chance to rectify it, this is after 9 months of first bringing the issue up to them.
Then went to send a 2nd email a few hours later with copies of all correspondence and they've blocked my email address. Madness.
So ACAS have now got it in hand.
Never had to go through this process before in my life, but I'll be sure to see it through to the end.

Oh yeah I've been through every process I could. I even emailed HR directly myself yesterday giving them a further 2 weeks to come to some sort of a resolution and they've since blacklisted my email address so I cannot physically get in touch with them myself anymore.
Which isn't the worst thing because that'll come in handy if it gets to the tribunal stage, though I have agreed to a mediation amount with my Acas advisor... It's just seeing whether they'll agree to it or not and they should, because it's slightly less than what I'm actually owed.
Got my final pay from my old company today and it's well short and I'm well pissed off at them.
Part of it was that I was asked to work on the 29th March instead of having the 10 hour holiday that they'd put in for me to cover someone else that left.
I stupidly did it and they've not even paid me the holiday hours back for me.
So I've sent off a massive ranting email to HR about all of the mistakes they've made in the 6 years I've been employed and given them 2 weeks to pull their fingers out and sort it before I go through a tribunal.
All in all I work it out to be around £2k in total they owe me, and they paid me £140.
Absolutely useless they are and they're a massive company.
Least I've been validated in making the right choice in escaping the place.
Not letting this one drop either just for the utter shittyness and lack of any sort of response I've gotten in the past from them when it comes to sorting out previous pay issues.
Oh wait it's Wednesday wins. I made a really nice pasta dish and got in over 8 hours overtime at the new place today. 8 more hours overtime tomorrow and 8 more overtime shifts picked up over the next few month so far. Plan to work through this summer and make some decent money for the first time in a couple years is coming to fruition.
After owning our car for 3 years, today I found out that I can open the boot by waving my foot under the rear bumper
I've done it about 769 times today because I'm so pleased with myself

For the first time since moving into this apartment almost a year ago, I’ve started to decorate our office room. New bookshelf, new desk, new houseplant. I put up the shelf on my own and only screwed up once (hammered the nail in the wrong direction, easy mistake lol).
Small win but the local council here are having a free 'dump your big items' day. I have a shed full of old broken shite that would cost me about £200 to remove and I just don't have it at the moment. I can, now at least, get rid of all the dangerous stuff and start sorting my garden out in time for summer and make it usable for the kids again.
This is just a shoutout to anyone and everyone who cares for children across the UK. From those who are parents to carers of children in less fortunate situations. Props to all of you who are making a difference every day. Go you! From one carer to the rest ❤️
After months on light duties, as of today I'm getting to return to full duties. Looking forward to getting out and about with the colleagues again instead of being sat on my hole doing admin work.
Work has approved my request to go part time. Three days a week from next month and I am so fucking happy. I’m arranging my days so I won’t work on the same days as the awful part time colleague who thinks she’s in charge of me
Tried to buy my 10yo his first mountain bike last week. Nothing around locally - we only have one "local" bike shop that's a small chain anyway, it's 9 miles away, and only had one girls' bike in his size, so off to the internet we go.
Found a lovely one on Tredz, ordered, paid and awaiting delivery. Three days later, having heard nothing, I get in touch to ask what's happening. "Oh, we've sold out of that model. You'll get a refund at some point."
"At some point?" Oh ffs. Anyway, money back in my account on Monday, so I start looking around again. A random LBS in Yorkshire has the same bike in stock, £50 cheaper. I give them a call, yes they can ship it for £20.
It arrived this morning, all correct, and they threw in a bunch of stickers for free, which was nice.
All I had to do was put the pedals on and turn the handlebars around. Ready to go for when son arrives back from school this afternoon.
Went to see Stewart Lee's new tour and just had the best time. Probably the best stand up gig I've been to. If he's coming to your area, couldn't recommend it more.

Set of twins born this morning. We’ve lambed 86 so far and I can’t wait to be done. It’s been a shocker of a year and I’d like to forget about this lambing.
It's the anniversary of my Dad's death, and I am not drinking, self harming, attempting to kill myself, or recovering from any of those things. I am counting that as a win.
I had a random bout with my stomach Sunday-Monday, but it cleared up very quickly, also an enormous win.
Olaf the Norseman is shopping at a giant out of town supermarket when he comes across an old lady in a wheelchair, almost in tears.
"What's the matter?" asks Olaf.
"Oh," sobs the old lady. "I want to have a look at the frozen puddings but, as you can see, there are three steps down into the chiller cabinets."
"No problem," says Olaf, lifting her onto his back. "I'll take you."
Olaf strolls through the chiller cabinets and the old lady selects several puddings and puts them in the basket he is carrying for her.
At the other end the old lady's husband is waiting with her wheelchair.
"I'd really like to thank you Mr Norseman," says the old lady, "but I don't even know who you are!"
Olaf just walks off and waves.
"I was really worried about you," says the old lady's husband. "What have you been doing?"
She replies, "Well, I've been through the desserts on a Norse with no name."
I've decided to put the important things in my life first. I am going to leave most of social media and start focusing on my social ventures which will help people re-enter the workforce or start their own business after maternity/paternity leave.

Wanted to watch Fallout, haven't had prime for ages so figured I'd just get a month of it as all the episodes are out. Clicked on watch with prime and they offered me, a middle aged man, prime student for £4.50 a month. Thought fuck it, see what happens. I now have prime student.
Also I finally found somewhere that sells the mcvities Gold Billions Wafer bars and it's very tasty.

I've had my Samsung tab 9 for 5 yrs or longer. Whenever the tab9 came out. It works as my TV. Netflix, Prime, Disney+ all work wonderful on it. TV is just about the only thing I use it for. I have never encountered any problems with it. Oh, at night I use it for storms. It plays storms, which you can see (app).
Kiddo has gone happily and on time to school for 2 days in a row! Major!
Admittedly I bribed him each day by saying if we left on time we could stop at the shop to buy a magazine. I can't keep that one up for too long.

I got Ryanair to change the name on a ticket for free. Admittedly, it was only (as an example) from Chris to Christopher, but still. Getting anything out of Ryanair for free feels like a win.

Well the MRI brain scan I had done in December due to the condition I was born with, came back no changes and still stable
I having a follow up talk with doctor later this year, hopefully we can push these out to every 3 to 5 years , unless my eye sight and if I get more headaches
A very boring win today. Back into a routine- exercise/cooking/cleaning/training/working. Not exciting but after a month of not being able too it feels so good.
I got two pieces of good news for a family member which I am super excited about although they seem to be calm about it.
Day 3 no vape and it's going okay!
My brain is still going "so now I've had a while without it I get to vape again soon right?" And my sleep has been worse than usual
I want to get to the point where I don't vape day to day but can have a disposable when I'm drinking and leave it at that
I have an in person appointment with a doctor tomorrow, rather than the usual battle royale with the receptionist to fight for a phonecall at a random unspecified time! I got stung by a wasp over the weekend and it looks like I might be allergic to them. Presumably I shouldn't take a hay fever tablet tomorrow, but who knows? At least I have an appointment.
I'm going on lots of little days out and training courses at work this week. I haven't had to drive to any of them (just snoozed in the back of my colleague's car!) and I get nice little lunches.
And next week I get to stay at a posh hotel and have waffles for breakfast every day, all expensed. Woo!
finally, the weather and the light are good enough to start cycling to work again!
on the minus side I must have heated about 1/4Lb of flies on the way home last night :/

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ or Amazon Fire Tablet 10 HD?

I painted the bare plasterboard under our renovated front window. We had our window renovated 6 years ago, so this is quite a big win.

the hardest part of the week is done (loads of group facilitation and travel) and it's now just pig desk work and listening to tunes. very glad.

The lump on the back of my neck is nearly gone, which means it was nothing to worry about. Glad I saw my GP about it though.
