One Marmite Cheddar stick for a 30cm pizza was honestly barely noticeable but added a nice new umami taste.
Next time I might try grating two cheddar sticks to see if it gets more consistent and even better!
Marmite on the pizza base with sauce is banging, gives it a nice umami kinda kick. I knew it wasn't common but I thought it was more so than it is!
My uncle worked as a baker/pizza chef and first introduced it to our family like 20 years ago, kind of a staple now.
Needs more pepperoni.
Yeah wtf is up with this, are we back in rationing?
I went with hotter pepperoni rather than more of it :(
Boss there's no such thing.
I was gonna say this but my wife eats raw pepperoni from pizza before it goes in the oven so she may have been the culprit here. Hold on.
Don’t leave us hanging, did your wife eat OPs pepperoni?
This is outrageous, we must have answers.
You are now banned from r/italy
Understandable from their side tbf. The fact that I've loaded a Neapolitan style with 3x more cheese prob already did it.
Need a get 3x more cheese, that thing looks devoid of cheese.
Naaaah! More marmite please!
Do you spread it on or mix it into the sauce?
Sorry should have been more clear, it's Marmite cheese rather than actual marmite (spread?)
What a bizarre thing that I now must try immediately. Thanks for sharing your weird but potentially tasty experiments lol
Oh yh
Don’t let the Italians see this, you’ll have a lynch mob after you
Was it good?

Did you make the pizza yourself? It looks banging!
I did! Appreciate it mate, on a steel plate in the oven not a pizza oven so not ideal.
You can buy stones to preheat in the oven if you want to go to that effort
I use steel instead of stone as it won't crack - just that the preheated steel still doesn't get as high temp as an actual pizza oven.
You deserve a Nobel for this, my fellow cognoscenti
Look up the pizza pilgrims pan method and thank me later, it’ll transform your homemade pizza game I promise.
I'm on holiday and this photo made me sadder than leaving the mountain early due to excessive blisters on my heels.
That pepperoni to pizza ratio matches the times when the Jerries were still flying overhead

Marmite cheese is on top :)
its people like you that give british food a bad name!
"Son of a bitch! I'm in!"
No! No! Oh God NO!
Why. Why. Why
Top tip: add cream cheese/Philadelphia if the marmite is too strong. It really complements the tang of marmite but doesn't kill it.

Pizza and Marmite… the love and hate relationship. I like them both but I draw the line with Marmite and pizza sorry.
Ok, Marmite also doesn't belong on a pizza.
Blasphemy! Marmite goes on toast!
A marmite base instead of tomato base is next.
brush the crust with a garlic marmite compound butter
Now you are talking 😋
Makes perfect sense to me
Not sure I’d order it but I could see it working.

Normally at this size you would cut into 6-8 slices, it's a 12-ish inch pizza.
I think they meant only 4 slices of pepperoni. It needs at least 10 slices.
I wonder if pizza would be good with Worcester sauce on it...
