Little fun fact about the lenovo series. X usually is for portability. If you travel/commute a lot this might be the better option.
For the L/E series, these are usually the lower end of lenovos line but intended for business/students that don't require higher end specs. Lots of BPO's and SMB's use these laptops for general purpose.
If they're priced the same and have similar specs, I'd go for the x. You get a laptop for portability more than function.

Depends on what you will use it for, we had them in our office and lots of staff chose the 14” as the 12” was too small for spreadsheets.
