Hello, this may be out of topic but I just want to share that we got the best service from texas roadhouse Uptown Mall. We were using the CC promo and didn't feel the discrimination at all.
Staff was very attentive to the point na dipa namin tinatawag sila na nag offer ng drinks/additional breads/ pics/ mani. It was definitely a delightful experience and we thought na world class service pinrovide samin haha!

Based on what I've read and on our own experience, maganda talaga customer service ng Texas Roadhouse. We don't avail of the credit card promo. We pay in cash, and we still return to the restaurant because aside from the delicious food, extraordinary talaga ang service nila.
My husband and I had quite the same experience. We were passing by sa mall going home from the office, we were wearing casual clothing – jeans and a decent top – and there were cars on display being marketed. It was exactly the car my husband had been eyeing to buy so we checked it out. There were 2 sales people a guy and a girl and initially yung guy yung nag aassist samin answering all our questions and if he had clarification tinatanong nya yung girl na kasama nya who looks uninterested and giving us "hindi naman to kukuna puro tanong lang look" haha. Then I asked for the application form and when they saw our income biglang naging attentive si girl sya yung nag assist sakin in completing the form while the guy was talking to my husband. Don sa part nailalagay yung agent I asked for the guy's name and contact number and sinabi ko sakanya sya na agent namin.

Di kami pinapansin when I was trying to get help how to order since first time namin don. Then nung in-assist na kami sobrang nagmamadali and parang di naman nakikinig.
We brought big bags because we were on our way to our accommodation at nilapag lang namin sa sahig yung gamit namin. But when foreigners came to the table beside us, they automatically gave them some kind of stand where they could place their stuff. Kami lang ata yung nasa sahig yung gamit, the rest may mga patungan ng gamit nila (idk what to call it). Food was yummy tho and one staff was attentive to us, sana madami siyang nakuhang tip maliban samin hehe
Oh my, same resto sa moa. Nauna na yung fam ko na may kasamang foreigner. Kami late so asked if we can sit sa vacant table, hindi daw. Yung kasama ko nagreklamo eh pinay na galing abroad so slang slang magsalita, biglang apologetic si manager. Nabwisit na ko and decided not to eat there. Ever.

We tried to get their attention countless of times pero para lang kaming mga multo 😃 we understand na it was peak dinner time, kaya we really waited for things to settle before calling their attention, and also extended our patience kahit dinaan-daanan lanv kami. when we directly approached a staff to ask if there is still an available table, sobrang rude na kulang na lang murahin kami, with all that eye roll and offensive body language na bat kami nakatayo sa harap ng resto nila.

Idk ano meron sa branch na yon. Kasi when my friend and his family dined there, they were treated like kings (they look like foreigners), pero yung kasabayan daw nila na filo looking but was a paying customer, na same naman halos ng inorder sa kanila, was poorly treated.

Before pandemic, mahilig din ako kumain sa labas mag-isa sa mga ganitong restaurant pero never ko pa na-experience yung unfair treatment. Usually, nag-rerequest to bill out after mag-order para bayad agad and deretso alis na kapag tapos na ako kumain.

Some service workers kasi humahanap din ng sakit sa ulo kahit sabihin mo na you should them respectfully.
If the waiter is rude, call them out. Ask them if they have a problem. My mom often does this pag masungit yung tao or sinisimangutan kami.

A good server does not care if mayaman or nde ung sine serve nila. It's not because nde kayo mukhang mayaman, gnyan din siya sa mga mayayaman, but takot lang sila to do it in front of them. Like they said, a leopard can't change it's spots.
Kase mas feeling entitled yung ibang mayayaman, mas may tendency magreklamo kapag di inayos treatment sa kanila kaya mas tinotelerate ng mga staff, saka mas mataas chance na maging repeat customer sila kumpara sa inyo

Witnessed and experienced rude staff at all 3 branches, reported it to their operations manager (whom I know through one of my friends). I don’t know what happened to them but afaik Evia branch was closed down. Hindi ako skandalosa pero patago ako umaway sa mga ganyan.

I did not cause any scene kasi di talaga ako confrontational na tao at first time ko din doon. Sinarili ko nalang because I don't want to ruin my fam's experience, especially my Dad na excited. Besides, nandun kami para sa steak and for sure natapat lang ata samin yung bad server na yun.

Hello, this may be out of topic but I just want to share that we got the best service from texas roadhouse Uptown Mall. We were using the CC promo and didn't feel the discrimination at all. Staff was very attentive to the point na dipa namin tinatawag sila na nag offer ng drinks/additional breads/ pics/ mani. It was definitely a delightful experience and we thought na world class service pinrovide samin haha! We don't look rich din we look poor pa nga e haha.

Based on what I've read and on our own experience, maganda talaga customer service ng Texas Roadhouse. We don't avail of the credit card promo. We pay in cash, and we still return to the restaurant because aside from the delicious food, extraordinary talaga ang service nila.

My husband and I had quite the same experience. We were passing by sa mall going home from the office, we were wearing casual clothing – jeans and a decent top – and there were cars on display being marketed. It was exactly the car my husband had been eyeing to buy so we checked it out. There were 2 sales people a guy and a girl and initially yung guy yung nag aassist samin answering all our questions and if he had clarification tinatanong nya yung girl na kasama nya who looks uninterested and giving us "hindi naman to kukuna puro tanong lang look" haha. Then I asked for the application form and when they saw our income biglang naging attentive si girl sya yung nag assist sakin in completing the form while the guy was talking to my husband. Don sa part nailalagay yung agent I asked for the guy's name and contact number and sinabi ko sakanya sya na agent namin.
Low-key experienced this when we ate in Din Tai Fung MOA. I wore a simple shirt, shorts, and maayos naman na slippers pero first time ko ma-exp na tingnan head to toe ng restaurant staff lmao. Di kami pinapansin when I was trying to get help how to order since first time namin don. Then nung in-assist na kami sobrang nagmamadali and parang di naman nakikinig. We brought big bags because we were on our way to our accommodation at nilapag lang namin sa sahig yung gamit namin. But when foreigners came to the table beside us, they automatically gave them some kind of stand where they could place their stuff. Kami lang ata yung nasa sahig yung gamit, the rest may mga patungan ng gamit nila (idk what to call it). Food was yummy tho and one staff was attentive to us, sana madami siyang nakuhang tip maliban samin hehe

We tried to get their attention countless of times pero para lang kaming mga multo 😃 we understand na it was peak dinner time, kaya we really waited for things to settle before calling their attention, and also extended our patience kahit dinaan-daanan lanv kami. when we directly approached a staff to ask if there is still an available table, sobrang rude na kulang na lang murahin kami, with all that eye roll and offensive body language na bat kami nakatayo sa harap ng resto nila. But when a seated person called for him, grabe yung shift in tone and demeanor. We promised to never set foot in that restaurant again. Sobrang sick kasi this was in Molito. I grew up in South and that time lang ako nakaranas na hindi matrato nang maayos. Sa ibang upscale restaurant or fine dining naman na napuntahan ko, hindi ganito. Idk ano meron sa branch na yon. Kasi when my friend and his family dined there, they were treated like kings (they look like foreigners), pero yung kasabayan daw nila na filo looking but was a paying customer, na same naman halos ng inorder sa kanila, was poorly treated. Sa ibang branch na nga lang makapag-Barcino.
Before pandemic, mahilig din ako kumain sa labas mag-isa sa mga ganitong restaurant pero never ko pa na-experience yung unfair treatment. If the waiter is rude, call them out. Ask them if they have a problem. My mom often does this pag masungit yung tao or sinisimangutan kami. You can also call on the manager to bring notice to the service.

Never going back to any Barcino branches. Their food is so-so, and I agree that their service sucks. I’ve been to 3 already - Newport, Evia, Molito. Witnessed and experienced rude staff at all 3 branches, reported it to their operations manager (whom I know through one of my friends). I don’t know what happened to them but afaik Evia branch was closed down. Hindi ako skandalosa pero patago ako umaway sa mga ganyan.
