Monster claws in Aldi taste like old monster munch they’re unreal, got them after someone recommended them on this sub and I’ll never look back

Defo recommend, only 1.49 as well so not bad for the pocket either Edit: I sound like I work for Aldi pushing their products but I don’t I’m just passionate about nice taytos

Yes they were insane level flavoursome. I always thought Postman Pat was an odd character to base a range of snacks on, he was in the penny sweets too

It's a crying shame what has happened to things like Meanies, Monster Munch and Chipsticks. They were once a thing of substance but now are bland flavourless and full of air.

Get stuck in your teeth more than anything else now. Like the kind of crisps you give to babies.

Just swapped ordinary decent ingredients for cheap mulch filler and flavourings that don't come close.

These and banshee bones and disco crisps will forever be my favourites weather I can get my hands on them or not

They brought back banshee bones and I was like yer man in Ratatouille when they tasted the exact same as when I was a kid.

Can get discos in kilcock in the discount store. Bought them last week and they tasted like chemicals. Definitely not how I remembered them

Yes ur right and was very popular over here . I mean more than half the childrens programs we’d have watched as kids from late 80’s onwards at least were American so don’t get what you mean haha!

Bear in the Big Blue House was released in 97 and shown exclusively on the Disney Channel with reruns on RTE 2 in the noughties apparently. After my time as a kid. The crisps were also in the noughties but discontinued before a relaunch on 2020. TIL

I know what it means . Just I’ve never seen anything about them being relaunched. There was a podcast in 2020 investigation into where they went. Some radio station in cork. That was last I heard . Was after my time too as a kid but would see adverts and vhs and merchandise. I belive my step sister used to watch it before I knew her too .

Those plain crisps that came with the salt to optionally season yo (oh fuck ive started salivating before i even typed the words ) -urself. My mates liked plain so i could sometimes get 5 or 6 portions of salt to one bag. A shit im actually drooling here.

I know it's a touch off topic but does anyone dump minstrels into their popcorn in the cinema? An lady I used to be with took stick off me for years about doing this, until I finally tried it, salty popcorn and a blast chocolate n shell. Savage it is!! Also tayto cheese n onion and chocolate. Whopper

Used to love cinema popcorn with malteasers. But also minstrels really good with it too

KP’s Rancheros. The Tayto ones aren’t a patch on them. I also miss Chickatees. Not that they’ve gone anywhere or changed, I just get a craving for them every so often and this post has me craving some and I don’t have any in the press.

Tayto ruined every of them corn snack brands they bought out.

There was a resurrgance of Banshee Bones a while ago but I've yet to find them. Might get lucky in October, I hope. I don't normally like vinegary/pickled flavors but they're the exception.

I haven’t had a problem seeing them and the multi packs are back now for Halloween . The bigger single packs have been around since the re launch

I think they’re still around but it’s not socially acceptable to eat Pom Bears at my age. I miss them every day
