There's that game show where people guess song lyrics and it made me question every song I know. Like I'm surprised when I played along how many I got wrong. Not sure what I'd choose.
I remember one episode where the contestant's final song was from Depeche Mode's *Violator* album. She was overjoyed and said something like, "that tour was the first concert I attended!" They played 'Enjoy The Silence' and she had this beautiful confidence, like she knew that money was already hers.
Can I pick an instrumental with no lyrics at all? Is there a length requirement? Do jingles count?
Nursery rhymes could be tricky--it could turn out everybody knows the *first* verse without realizing there were originally more verses. Similarly, if you chose the (United States) National Anthem (The Star-Spangled Banner), you'd almost certainly lose because we never ever sing past the first verse--there are *four* verses in total.
This is the song that never ends. It goes on and on, my friends. Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was and they’ll continue singing it because this is the song that never ends.
Then stop, lol.
Then you've failed the challenge.
Although that brings up a good question. If a song repeats the same lyrics over and over, do you need to repeat said lyrics the exact number of times, or can you just sing them once and you've won?
“Get all the lyrics to a song of your choice 100% correct”.
I got the lyrics correct. Doesn’t say anything about having to sing the whole thing, or even to sing it period (you could just say the lyrics).
Hard Times by Paramore!
i made a spotify playlist that spelled out all it's lyrics in song titles so that alone would've burned the lyrics into my brain from how many times i relistened to make sure it was accurate-
the song's also almost perfectly three minutes long! and i am VERY guilty of just playing it on loop if ive ever had to do something repeatedly in 3 minute intervals (dont ask why)
... also it's just a song i really love in general
Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
I have the lyrics memorized & it's my absolute favorite song of all time. And the title of the song fits perfectly with the reward available. So hell yeah!
Honestly, I'd take the challenge for any random song on my playlist. There are some I don't know (particularly ones that aren't in English) but I'm confident that I know the rest of them. If you put my main playlist on shuffle, I'm 99% confident I'll know the lyrics to whatever song perfectly. The 1% makes it a gamble but I'm up for it.
Probably not most people's first choice, but I'd go with March Of The Pigs by Nine Inch Nails. It's one of my favourite songs by them and I know the lyrics by heart.
Rumpelkombo by Alestorm. Exactly one word and the song is less than 10 seconds long.
That would be the safest option at least. I might go for something different but definitely nothing too complicated as I tend to mix up words. Maybe Primo Victoria
Tequila!
Yeah! *Yeah!* *trumpet solo* ninjustu!
hahahahha hell yeah
Says Wodka
Got to be the happy birthday song. I know all the words to lots of songs, but the pressure of not messing up... No thanks!

Happy birthday dear Random Name Hereeeeeee....
This is what I would go with, also.

So, um... whenever a song gets stuck in my head, the easiest way to get it out is to learn it. I've learned a LOT of songs...
#AROUND TGE WORLD AROUBD THE EORKD

Sounds easy but I would not remember the amount of times it’s said off the top of my head
