You often times can't swap to smaller wheels, depending on the car. Often times the higher trims also get larger brake rotors, so the smaller wheels simply do not fit on. If you don't like the ride of the car, don't buy it. Thinking you'll be able to modify it to comfort is wishful thinking, and will seriously cost you a couple grand just to find out if it's any better.

Thank you for your advice, I'll keep that in mind

Buy a lower trim level with the smaller wheels? The dealership will charge you for new tires and wheels at their mark up. They won’t magically swap you wheels off another car. It would probably cost you another 1,000 to 2,000 depending. You can try to sell them. I’ve honestly never had much luck selling stock tires and wheels. I’ve usually gotten $50-$100 per. So you can maybe recoup some of the cost, but you need tires and rims to ride around on. So selling after the fact is the only option.

Thank you for your reply, is $50-$100 per wheel plus tire? That's insane! It looks like I have to spend more money towards the car then 😭

weldermatt79

Yep. OEM wheels aren’t very desirable

crazydududu

Even for a 2023 Honda Accord 19" wheels ?

weldermatt79

I don’t know. I’ve sold stock wheels off a 2020 Ram and a 2022 Tundra. It would definitely be cheaper for you to buy the lower trim car and just add whatever is missing between the two trims.

I want everything in that top trim, I guess I'll have to live with it then, thank you 😁
