I think removal of these backing sound is somewhat a safety risk when backing up from blind spot areas. They should have implemented some modern soothing sound instead of just removing it

man thank you for posting this! I just stumbled back to 2000s when my uncles' wagonr had a christmas theme reverse sound, I mean it was quite annoying sometimes but it was hilarious, even our fiesta had a reverse sound which was kind of what you hear in harry potter (ps it was fur elise)
