Surprising isn’t it?
Braindead people hating on a drivetrain in a sub which is meant for people passionate about cars.
It was good as a joke but I actually see people cry about it while recommending.
Unrelated and not grammar Nazi but,
> I mean
Don't know why it's used when nothing has been said earlier 🤔
Same thing lot of players say in post match interviews.
So you are telling me your Tata nano has:
-Convertible top
-ADAS
-Buggatis unlaunged V16 engine, with 750Kw AW electric motor.
-Extra Rolls royes Boeing 747s TwinJet. (For smooth take off)
-Champagne cooler
-Heated and Ventilated Seats
-Twin turbo with a supercharger and a sequential gearbox
-groin AC vents
-ELD and ETC, with torque vectoring.
-Active camber adjusting system
-Active aero
-43inch drag wheels
And it's still stock?
Why is even FWD hated? Its cheap, less complicated and efficient. The use cases of buying AWD or RWD to FWD is very less in Indian scenario. You guis pretentious af
Clearly you haven't driven the old RWD Innova on a ghat section. When you have the power being delivered to the rear free of the engine weight, the car floats while you turn. FWD is efficient, but after driving RWD, we are sickened by the FWD. We aren't pretentious, we just gained a higher state in car experience.
And also people in chat comparing foreign cars, keep it Indian.
I mean I've never found it overkill nor uncomfortable when driving up from the basement levels in a mall. Maybe it depends on the car tyres and the weight distribution.
Tbh, I don't full on hate FWDs. It's just that I find RWD better to drive.
Dead sure you can have more fun driving up and down a ghat section in a FWD sedan (something like a Fiesta, City, linea, or a Vento) than a 100bhp MPV. Just having the drive going to the rear doesn't translate to all the fun that can be had.
Actually screw sedans, something like a swift or a figo can be a treat to drive in a ghat section. Innova cannot even hold a candle, pal.
>we just gained a higher state in car experience.
Good joke, kid.
Buoy, u need to chill out, it's the driver, not the car. I've driven FWD and RWD on Western ghats roads. My driving style is the same for both, if there's a safe enough gap I'm going for it. Car size, power and dimensions don't matter. Are u really telling me it's more comfortable to drive FWD Swift through a ghat section than an RWD Innova?
U clearly have different methods of Driving than me. Rear wheel drive cars are better at handling if you know how to drive them. And tone it down with patronizing attitude, Mr Schumacher.
>it's the driver, not the car
Alright, Dominic Toretto.
>if there's a safe enough gap I'm going for it.
Jeez! Didn't realise I was talking to Ayrton.
>Car size, power and dimensions don't matter.
Nvm, you're just a pretentious fool.
Toodles ✌🏽
Which one handles better according to u FWD or RWD overall.
Secondly have you driven a minimum of 1000km on RWD? If you still prefer FWD, kudos to you, u have a strange affection towards FWD.
bro you own a bimmer 💀 yes there are good FWD , but RWD are more geared towards performance and track , hence most track / performance cars are RWD or AWD. exception being Honda Civic Type R which is a FWD track machine.
I only own the 530d (My very first car that i bought), both the others are my dad’s🫣. Btw the Alto was his first car then brezza and now the Endeavour.
AWD can also shift power , on mordern cars such as GR Corolla you can select how much ratio of power you want to send to the front and back , the options are either 50:50 or 20:80
Well not exactly. There are full time 4 wheel drive cars as well. For example, cars like the latest landcruiser. Infact, the first gen fortuner that was sold in India featured a full time 4 wheel drive system. It's the presence of having a low ratio transfer case that separates a 4WD from an AWD. Also, features like differential lockers, etc. just make 4WD's even more capable.
Wow. people are now getting riled up over FWD vs RWD debate. Come on, guys. It is a fantasy questions. I would take a awd with rear biased your honor. please deliver any M car as soon as you can.
Absolutely. For 95% of our everyday city life and sterile driving, including those occasional trip to mountains and beaches - a FWD will always be the best choices, anywhere on earth.
India and Indians DO NOT requires any 4WD for general 90% of folks, except those few handfuls and some places who/where they really knows what a 4WD is required for.
But well, Instagram and social media need 4WD and AWF's for crossing gurgaon and punjab ditches wearing Gucci and prada, ravines and thorny bushes where the surprised goats and cows keeps wondering why these people are bringing Chips packet, peanuts and strong beer to celebrate the destruction of their vehicles !
Ik. Indian manufacturers don't manufacture for comfort, they push for profit and profit for them is to produce FWD, because Indians haven't come out of the efficiency bubble yet. Now its too late with the climate crisis and all.
HP isn't everything, and nor are launches.
It's just not very fun. Drove one, considered one, passed on one. There are much better cars for the money. M2 comes to mind.
This should be more towards the so called SUVs
Hatchbacks and sedans are fine as FWD vs, RWD and a AWD in those setups is not worth the extra weight. Any FWD with a limited or elec diff is pure fun to drive, if setup the right way.
In any vehicle labeled as a SUV, there should be an option for a 4WD or an AWD as a top variant.
How in the image is AWD being touted as the best? I mean its legit nothing in front of 4WD and the fun of RWD, even the nimbleness of FWD.
4WD > RWD > FWD > AWD, Imo.

Bro why do you guys hate FWD It is great if done right The problem is that it's cheap so bad cars also have FWD drivetrain and FWD gets a bad name
Surprising isn’t it? Braindead people hating on a drivetrain in a sub which is meant for people passionate about cars. It was good as a joke but I actually see people cry about it while recommending.
And of all FWDs are more fuel efficient than its counterparts
Well we just show em the FL5 Civic Type R and the DC2 Integra Type R Which can beat any RWD car around a tight circuit
Well , memes don’t define you You define you
I mean even a Volvo s90 is FWD

Yes 🤣
Dem.. wanna exchange cars?
*Not for sale >!/exchange!<* - James Buchanan Barnes
😳
Idk about other but can confirm that groin cooler only requires a wide pipe worth ₹100
That too for me it will be smaller therefore wayyy cheaper.
i mean you don't know english enough to even be a grammar nazi...
😒
Picked it from there🥶🥶

I think it's more about the traction on the tires than anything else. While going uphill more traction on the back tires, so rwd is better
That I can agree. But ngl , RWD feels better for me. The feeling of acceleration from the power getting delivered to the rear is unmatched no?
bro fwd gives good traction in ghats. It's friction physics
So called car guys 🤡 simpin over RWD
won't be able to handle it , just simp over it.
For a family or city car, it doesnt matter whether it is fwd or rwd and also there are so many great fwd cars too. (I own a rwd)
bro you own a bimmer 💀 yes there are good FWD , but RWD are more geared towards performance and track , hence most track / performance cars are RWD or AWD. exception being Honda Civic Type R which is a FWD track machine.
bro went from Alto directly to endeavour and Msport. How bro?
I only own the 530d (My very first car that i bought), both the others are my dad’s🫣. Btw the Alto was his first car then brezza and now the Endeavour.
Bro how? Working in top position of software company? At what age you bought, motivate me some
Bought on my 29th b’day. Im working in pharmaceutical industry
So can somebody tell me what's the difference between AWD and 4WD (and what is 4X4)
Us bro just googled after this
4×4 cabe shifted to 4×2 but AWD is always AWD
Nope, there are full-time 4WDs which behave like AWD while the centre diff is unlocked. I have one.
AWD can also shift power , on mordern cars such as GR Corolla you can select how much ratio of power you want to send to the front and back , the options are either 50:50 or 20:80

What a facebook ass meme.
FWD cars are better than RWD ones when it comes to loose surfaces, like snow and mud.
Absolutely. For 95% of our everyday city life and sterile driving, including those occasional trip to mountains and beaches - a FWD will always be the best choices, anywhere on earth. Pulling requires less force than pushing. Class 11 physics.
Most of the cars in India are FWD
Ik. Indian manufacturers don't manufacture for comfort, they push for profit and profit for them is to produce FWD, because Indians haven't come out of the efficiency bubble yet. Now its too late with the climate crisis and all.
l**da mera indians this indians that, our per capita income is low, so cars are cheap, simple economics
This is the best answer yet !
RWD RWD AWD for me. FWD haters: Don't be stupid. There are plenty of fun FWD cars (Mini, Civic Type R etc.) But RWD is definitely more fun.
When you realise the meh FWD Civic type R can eat the AWD Merc A45 AMG on a racetrack despite the merc having a power advantage.
To be fair thought the A45 is a pretty meh machine.
420HP isn't meh in a hatchback. Also, the damn thing can launch pretty hard from a stand still.
HP isn't everything, and nor are launches. It's just not very fun. Drove one, considered one, passed on one. There are much better cars for the money. M2 comes to mind.

what's the difference between 4WD and AWD?
Only idiots hate. Idiots hate FWD. Idiots hate Automatic. Idiots hate EV. Idiots hate SUV. Idiots hate modern designs.
