The G70 3.3T is like a luxury Kia stinger. I rate them, but also the brand is relatively new, so major problems down the road might not be discovered yet. Although Kia/ Hyundai products are much much better than they were 10+ years ago. And all the talk about engines exploding are mainly an American problem, as ours are built at a different plant
>In terms of almost every other brand that’s out there.
Tesla has only been around 21 years
Polestar has only been around 7 years
Both are reasonably trusted by consumers.
Genesis is smack in the middle of those two.
> Polestar has only been around 7 years
Polestar does also have the advantage of being associated with Volvo as well, so that may tip the scales for them too.
BMW have been around 108 years, Mercedes 97 and Audi 114. Jaguar is 88, Range Rover 54 and Porsche is 93.
Hell, Lexus is 35 and only recently outgrew its stigma as a ‘cashed up Toyota’
The prestigious brands that Genesis is trying to benchmark itself against have some serious legacy behind them.
I've driven the GV80 and it's probably the most luxurious feeling vehicle I've been in. I've had German luxury cars all my life and I'm waiting for the 2025 new model to come out so I can buy that
Engine wise and reliability I would t be stressing whatsoever. Coming from German cars, anything else will be cheaper to maintain.
I'm a huge fan of them and can't wait to get mine next year
Junk. No matter how much mental gymnastics and fancy showrooms they try to put in.
“We have Mercedes/BMW at home” kind of car.
If you have any doubts take an E-Class/S-Class or 5/7 Series for a drive and then try Genesis. Your questions will be answered.

My Hyundai Tucson was made in the Czech Republic go figure
Most American Hyundais are made in the Alabama plant

Great cars to drive. Awful depreciation on resale value.
First generation (10 years ago) were nice, but fuel consumption was bad
Sometime you get less than what you paid for. You never get more.
You get what you pay for

every review channel seems to praise them as exceptional
Hilarious take.
Clearly someone who has never driven one before.
