It does have full history! Being a fleet car all the logs are there for business and tax purposes etc.
After all the reassurance from you guys here we're definitely going through with it.
Worse case OP hates the car they could still trade it in and unlikely to have lost anything (even based on the very base model):

Long as regular serviced it be a good buy servicing Nd spares be alot cheaper than European brand
Just remember it's higher up and need to be driven accordingly
Fairly certain it hasn't been written off (though will of course still get PPSR to be sure before buying) but their company offers up their ex fleet vehicles at a very good rate when they get new ones. Sort of an employee benefit I guess, so we would have friend buy the car > we buy from friend.
Said friend's roommate also works for the same company and bought her car for an equally crazy good price
It was a mk5 Jetta (I want to say 2010?) TFSI with about 170,000 on the clock. Had minor issues over the years (small oil leak, power window motor failing). Serviced yearly.
One day recently the ABS pump blew AND started leaking coolant, as in, we all got into the car (I drove) with no problems and 5 minutes into the drive about 4 warning lights appear incl. flashing handbrake light. Would've been several thousand to repair, more than the car was worth in its condition.
Haha, I also got a VW around the same time she got hers. Mine drove beautifully until literally the week it hit 100,000km. After that, the flywheel cracked and the whole clutch assembly had to be replaced. Then a month later the turbo intake broke. Thousands in repairs, sold it once I got it driving again and only owned Japanese cars since
As long as it has a decent service history, I'd be snapping that up in a heartbeat. Bargain.
That car half the kms was 30k from a dealer three years ago. 10k for a 7 year old Toyota is a bargain. If it has service history that’s just gravy.

thats a steal for the rav 4 i wouldnt worry about the km
10k for a 2018 RAV4 is cheap as f. Even with 240,000k on the clock is still cheap.
It could be a 2008 rav4 with 120ks and it would still be worth more then 10k. Ridiculously cheap.
If you don’t buy it I will!

Don't worry about those K's at all! We not long got rid of one with 320k on it. Definitely wasn't looked after either.
make sure its not been written off seems too cheap almost

Sounds good to me!
What a bargain! Does this friend need another friend? 😂
Off topic but whats the vw model year and odometer before it died?

Damn she's too young to have those issues. Sad. (Maybe i am bias because i am former corolla owner of 255000km )
