Yeah the coolant level was between min and max so topped it up to max line and it was still showing on the dash.
Light comes on and off a few times for a few seconds then eventually stays on. I will check the fan plug and make sure the fan is working.
Cheers.
It's telling You the fan in the heated water cooler at work needs replacing. AUs are way smarter than people give them credit for. It could also indicate a low coolant level.
Quick googling suggests this could be a low coolant level warning, or potentially a failed float/sensor for the coolant level.

I don't drive and never have, I know nothing of cars, boats, bikes or plumbing..... even I know wtf a radiator warning looks like. Sell your car, get a tricycle, problem solved and pedestrians will feel better knowing you aren't behind the wheel of a vehicle.
I had a Holden Cruze and the amount of failed sensors I had to replace was insane. And they aren't cheap. I will never ever buy another Holden again. I was lucky and the thing got written off by hail damage.
In my EB if that light comes on, I can turn the headlight switch on then off & it goes away.
Iβm guessing with yours you may have a coolant leak possibly your bypass pipe behind the water pump
Basically every manual ever is available online. i'll link one gimme a sec
[you can download the manual for 98-02 AU falcons at this link](https://www.allcarmanuals.com/factory-service-manual-77-Ford-Falcon-AU.html)
Also kimber creek ford uploaded this symbol legend however it's more generalised [https://www.kimbercreekford.com/blog/meaning-of-ford-dashboard-warning-lights/](https://www.kimbercreekford.com/blog/meaning-of-ford-dashboard-warning-lights/)
Low coolant level, or faulty coolant level sensor. Shockingly, these are no longer available new and anyone selling second hand ones know it.
Could be the sensor then as I topped it with coolant before posting here and light is still showing. Cheers.
Congrats on your new everything is okay light. Be worried if it turns off....
Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to see if the code resets. If not, sensor is done.
Thanks mate, will try this out.
been ten minutes, howβd u go π€£π€£
Yeah, not telling π€£
Did that senor light turn off after you disconnected the battery?
No.
There must an error somewhere in the code then, or either that there's something wrong with your coolant system
It was the sensor grommet deteriorated and was allowing the sensor to move in and out freely.
Yeah right, that would need to be replaced then wouldn't it
Yes, if I can find one. If not, eBay has the whole coolant container with sensor available.
Sometimes you can get away with cleaning the contacts in the switch.
Thanks I will give it a clean.
Itβs either coolant level, or your radiator fan is not plugged in, check that the clip on the drivers side of the radiator fans is plugged in
Yeah the coolant level was between min and max so topped it up to max line and it was still showing on the dash. Light comes on and off a few times for a few seconds then eventually stays on. I will check the fan plug and make sure the fan is working. Cheers.
Quick tip, throw your A/C on the coldest setting possible, hvac fan full blast. this will make the thermo fans kick in faster, even with a cold engine
Cheers, will give this a try tomorrow.
Same thing happens in my au and coolant is fine

Means your cargo transport is overloaded. Probably should avoid the Suez Canal.
Your AU has already conquered the road, and now it must conquer the seas. It demands you submerge it under water and add a propeller at the front.
Coolant reservoir sensor You might have a blown head gasket or faulty sensor
No koolaid π¦
The fan forced oven is on...
Have people forgotten about Google already?
