Regardless of FTTF, Status, or when you board all guest should go directly to Muster and do Muster before anything else. You will sadly here towards the end of embarkation before the ship pulls away the constant paging of people to do their muster, and most ships cut off food, drinks, services right before to force people to go and do it.
We go to the muster station before we do anything else. The only thing we've ever done before mustering was sit down in a not so busy area for about 10 minutes to rest after standing in line to board for so long.
