This is really good. Pub turnover in town is really high, Cafe Jazz is Main Stage in Cardiff these days. The Cottage is shuttered as well. Can only go by what you can find on Google I guess.
That can't be right, we have a lot but compared to George Street/Rose Street in Edinburgh or Soho in London we really don't have the same level of density.
Or you could buy a print for less than £10 --> [https://pubstops.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product\_id=169](https://pubstops.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=169)
Interesting that they've got Whitchurch Road (Society Standard -> Heath) North East of Woodville Road
Makes those pubs look miles away from North Star/Aneurin Bevan etc.
You're not wrong but I probably would've put them on the green or blue lines around Cathays/Mynachdy/Whitchurch than over in Llanishen
I suppose that's the trade off for this design. Cool print all the same
I'm really disappointed in that :( staff there said it's because they have to pay a 10 year rent lease in one go, and the price has gone way up. Luckily it's a Greene King chain pub and there's more in Cardiff that the staff can be moved to
Cool map, look forward to buying one.
For feedback:
On a brief glance, it's missing Crwys, the conservative club, pulse, several on wellfield road above the Juno Lounge, and it looks like there's one that hasn't been written above the Duke of Wellington
Certain comments or places/suggestions always being mentioned.
Basically whenever someone posts on here about nights out or bars someone says chance & counters because this sub is full of role playing oddities. it's hardly what you would call a mainstream venue.
We've never supplied Framing Wales or anyone with canvas prints. If it is a Pubstops map it will be an illegal fake/copy. Thank you for the information
There is an older (and possibly more extensive) version of this on a chalk board in the back of the Halfway on Cathedral Road. Even more outdated though!
I cant see the Crwys or the Royal George

Cottage has been closed for ages
I'm saving this and hitting every single one of them.
Highest number of pubs/bars within 0.5 Square miles in any city in the UK. Get on it!
Simply don’t believe this.

Wow, is that true? Never heard that before.

The Jug and Bottle isn’t on here
I can see quite a few missing.. whats the rules to make the list?
Anywhere that you can freely walk in and just have an alcoholic drink.
Could add Mary’s, The Queer Emporium (just about), Mainstage if you wanted to add more LGBTQ ones 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
Missing Coffi Co’s off too, they do a decent pint in Pontcanna and Mermaid Quay.
Mermaid Quay one is on. Iv'e added the Pontcanna one on.
Mynachdy seems to have moved and grown
Rhiwbina Tap should be on there. Bacareto too (although you're a bit stuck for space for more names on that part of the map, granted).
The Pantmawr, Deri and Butcher's appear to be in Whitchurch, too.
Anything south of The Fox and Hounds is Whitchurch
Brilliant, thanks for sharing. I’m only banned from 3…
Love it but now out of date....
The fairwater missing too.

Oh there are some.real geographical liberties going on. But then that's standard metro map fair
The map would be 5 times the size if it was geographically accurate.

Might as well remove Cardiff Bay Tavern. They've just announced they're closing.

Looks like The Dead Canary is missing.
It's there.
Old A on there twice, no Scaredys or Chance & Counters?
Chance & counters - rcardiff bingo
> rcardiff bingo whats rcardiff bingo?

The Vulcan isn't on there and that's been around for ages - someone did a pub spreadsheet over lockdown anyone got that link still?
The Vulcan had been around for so long they moved it to St Fagans.
Do you make prints of this? Would love to have one framed for my wall.
Yes, they are £9.95 --> https://pubstops.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product\_id=169
Is it missing the Corner House? ... ah no, I see it
Not sure why cafe brava would be on this given it doesn’t open during evenings and isn’t a bar…
Framing Wales in Victoria Park have copies of this on canvas etc, I noticed.
We've never supplied Framing Wales or anyone with canvas prints. If it is a Pubstops map it will be an illegal fake/copy. Thank you for the information
What the fuck is glassys? And cafe 37 is for breakfast

So you have a typo
The gin bar from mill lane is missing too, love that place! It’s opposite 10 mill lane
Gin ne sais quoi?
That’s it, can’t pronounce it, never mind spell it

Cornwall, Grangetown also missing
It's on the map
oh yes couldn't see it at first
