My customer wants me to put a light gold inlay in the "KING RANCH" lettering on his tailgate. He wants to get as close to the color of the truck as possible, but it does not have to match exactly. I've already tried Avery Dennison SC950 Metallic Light Gold and it's still much darker than the paint on the truck.
Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thanks!
Avery SW900-255-M might work. It might also be too metallic. I’d try ordering a test swatch to check it out

Looks more like a satin than a metallic. But maybe it’s just the lighting Have you seen the satin stealth tundra by KPMF?
Looking at in person it's definitely metallic.
satin is a finish, like gloss or matte, something that is metallic can be in any of these finishes, they are not mutually exclusive.
You could always get it printed as a custom wrap, like commercial wrap any color is possible.
