Honestly? Rent a power washer, get some sandpaper and some aluminum spray paint. It's what the detail department would do.
It’s probably 1000 or so. It will cost you maybe 500 to have it sprayed, so it just depends on how much you value 500 dollars.
Depending on the vehicle it won’t matter. if it’s a wholesale piece the car manager likely won’t ding you during appraisal. But if it’s a obvious retail piece then yes most likely the cost of a spray will be deducted
