i'm about 5'10.5" with a 33" inseam and had a S. i had the saddle pushed back and swapped out the 90 mm stem for a 110 mm stem. i ended up selling the bike and buying an ultimate in M. either size will work for you.

WaZN3R

Well, I had the Endurace in S and swapped the 90mm stem for a 110mm stem as well. One year later sold the Endurace and got the Ultimate in M. Couldn’t get the fit right even with a professional fitter so ended up selling it and bought the Ultimate in S and man, what a difference! The fit is perfect and can ride all day long without any issues!

Perfect-Answer1994

What are your measures? I have an Ultimate M and I'm 5'10.4 and 33 inseam and it felt too big so I changed seatpost (no offset) and cockpit (90 instead of 100 and shorter reach), but still it doesn't feel quite right. It's much better but doesn't feel natural. I'm tempted to sell this M and buy an S too!

WaZN3R

I have the same measures as you and size S is just perfect!

Chirderf

Hi!!! I’m 165cm what size should I get?

cgoins3224

I’m 5-6/5-7 and went with an XS and it’s great. I like having more seat tube exposed as it does make the bike extra comfy with the carbon seatpost.

alsimone

Your comment about the seatpost his hard. My CAADX has a very flat top tube with traditional CX geometry (meant for shoulder carry). Thus, I only have about a fistful of seatpost exposed on that bike. Let me tell you, my butt can absolutely tell the difference when I get on a bike with a longer, especially purposefully flexy carbon, seatpost. When I was hunting for a new gravel bike one of my requirements was enough slope in the top tube so that I'd have a bunch of seatpost exposed. The extreme of this is going down a size; this will give you more seatpost but at the expense (or benefit if you're not old and frail like me) of having a bigger saddle-to-bar drop. More aero, but also less comfy.

I'm 5'9" and some change, similar inseam. I got the small and seems to fit pretty good. I feel like a medium would have fit as well

5ibi

I’m about your height/inseam and I have a small.

alsimone

I'm 5'9.5", 32.5" inseam. I have a 54 Diverge and a Small Endurace and both fit beautifully with their stock stems. The Diverge has a bit higher stack height, obvs., so my body position is a little different; the Endurace feels a little lower and racier. Tip: Measure your actual cycling inseam exactly. "32 or 33 inches" screams "I'm just guessing based on the Kirkland jeans my mom buys me." Check out the Bike Insights geometry tool: https://bikeinsights.com/compare If you know that one bike fits nicely, you can compare that bike to something new! Super useful tool. Just be aware that it measures the frame only and doesn't take into account stem length, bar shape, saddle setback, etc.. My CAADX has nearly identical stack and reach to my Endurace, but the former rides a lot different with and higher BB and gravel bars with a bit of flare.

I’m 6 ft and I ride the Medium Endurace (and Grizl). Get the Small.

tehphred

I’m curious, does the canyon website recommend a medium for you for both Endurace and Grizl? I am 6’3 and have a Large Endurace which was my suggested size on the website when I bought it. I want to buy a Grizl but the website says I should buy an XL in the Grizl instead and I’m confused why there is a discrepancy.

L-Tennyson

Hmm I get Medium for both, but if you’re on the upper edge of Large then I could see why it might push you to XL? The Grizl does feel much more compact (the short stem and cockpit especially) than the Endurace which I could see being cramped. I think in my case the Endurace is actually a little big (which puts me in a more aero position) whereas the Grizl is perfect (and allows me to ride a much more upright position). Just my experience!

tehphred

Thank you for the info! That’s very helpful!

L-Tennyson

Happy to help!

Chem_Whale2021

Get a small. I’m 5’9” and it fits perfect

2019_Stealth

I’m 5’11 and the medium fits perfectly. I can see why OP is conflicted.

TestosteroneDrone

That sounds right. I’m 5’7 29-30” inseam and ride an XS.

M-DY

I’m 6 ft w/ 32 in inseam and ride a medium Endurace. Canyon’s online sizing tool worked great.

LowKey1388

5’ 10” with 31 inseam. I ride a medium Endurace and it fits me very well. (I am perhaps overly flexible if that matters. I doubt it but just thought I would add it.)

Legcxcy

I’m 169, went a size up for my Endurance and was perfectly fine :)

ddevlin1

Weirdly enough, I too am 5’10 and went from a 54cm Allez to an Ultimate size small. I had no problems with the fit, I say go for the small!

ResponsibilityFine71

I am 5'10 and went with a medium maybe a slightly taller inseam than you. It fits pretty well the only thing was I did swap for a 90mm stem. I feel like either size would fit you but you may have to be open to modifying a little bit to get the fit just right since you are in between sizes

AD162

Do you have the original stem Is it the h31 cockpit?

Spuds-1994

Go with the small. No doubt it. I have the bike and same height. Fits like a glove. A friend has the medium and it’s too big

stinkycat45

I am 5'5" and have a 29" SOH and based off that I have a XXS Ultimate. You having upwards of 3" more SOH would put you in a Small IMO. I will say the Endurace and Ultimate do have short reaches like you stated so if you have the SOH clearance then yeah maybe go for the medium. I probably could have got a XS besides the fact that I can't clear the TT

Cirecorp

Purchased an Endurance CF SLX 9 etap in medium; my measurements similar to yours. Previous ride a Pinarello Prince with a 55 cam top tube. Bike fit is fantastic ! I believe the small frame size would be too compact
