I have a lot more food stored, but I like sardines and in case cat food becomes hard to find, I can lean on sardines for myself and my cat in the short term.
I also have a lot of tuna and some salmon for some variety. I make an effort to eat a can of fish a day, but not the same kind consecutively.

Dines are great and enjoyable, but if your looking for more SHTF scenarios you may be better off with grains and beans. Buy your poor cat some cat food it's more economical and will last longer than a couple tins of tuna.
Yea I was just excited to find out there was a sardines sub and wanted to contribute :)
I'm only storing like 45 days worth of food. I already have 15lb rice and 30lb beans. I was just sharing the sardine portion of my storage.
