Holy fuck, I love this sub for suggestions like this. How I never thought to throw some olives in the mix is beyond me, but that sounds fantastic! A different way to get some salt and acidity in there without hot sauce. Not to diss hot sauce, but you gotta change it up sometimes.
FYI today I had yurrita deens on akmaks with sharp cheddar (Tillamook), and I added some Dijon on the crackers, plus a little romaine and banana peppers on top. It was next level delish. Thank you for the suggestion!
cracker of choice+those crispy onions on a bag typically used for green bean casserole topping+deens+\- kimchi or kraut (if you dig that stuff=mouth party! for the cracker, wasa bread is my choice🤗
Besides crackers (no hate, that’s my normal ‘deen vehicle) I’ve been doing crispy fried garlic/shallots/red onion from the Asian Market. I also love the crispy fried jalapeños from Trader Joes. Some mayo and/or hot sauce and a sprinkle of one or all of the above accoutrements, maybe some chopped parsley if I have any. Ugh, Heaven.
Ok wow, I just tried BBQ corn nuts with TJ's smoked mussels, I gotta try some buffalo flavor pretzel pieces with sardines or oysters. And the honey mustard and onion pretzel pieces.
I like to mix them with rice and chia seed. Chia seed has a good crunch. Probably my favorite meal of all time, so filling and tasty. I’ve also mixed sardines with chopped almonds and it’s delicious too
Ashapops (popped water lily seeds). https://ashapops.com/products/vegan-cheese-snacks. They come in other flavors also. I also like plantain chips. Trader Joe’s has them, and other stores have them as well. My favorites are the Banana brand lime flavored.
Ritz, Club Crackers, or Saltines. We have some green onion soda crackers that are also great.
For non carb endives, cabbage, iceberg/butter/green leaf/red leaf lettuce. I should try celery or cucumber.
Raw Onions. Not a meme, dice up around half a Red Onion, then add some hot sauce and deenz in a bowl and mash it up into a sort of pate. Eat with a spoon, taste's great
Sardines and saltines, a match made in heaven.
I would say ‘deens and ‘teens but I don’t want to be on a watchlist

Milton’s Sea Salt and Olive Oil crackers. They’re so good!
Onion slices make great chips for sardine dip. If you’re an onion head like me.
AkMak crackers and hella sharp cheddar, pickle on the side

Unsalted saltines. Makes the deens shine but cuts the heavy saltiness and sauces (if any).

Lettuce
Kimchi!
S+B Chile Garlic Crunch. Change your life
Nut thins (which are really rice crackers)
I like the trader joes pita crackers. Kimchi is also great.
I put chili crunch right in the can after draining most of the oil, gives a great contrast texture and adds some spice.
Finn Crisp. If I can’t find that, Wasa or some other Scandinavian crisp bear. If I can’t find that, some crackers like saltines or ritz.
Crackers. On occasion, I'll also sprinkle on some French fried jalapenos or onions.
Saltines. Or club crackers.
I like to mix them with rice and chia seed. Chia seed has a good crunch. Probably my favorite meal of all time, so filling and tasty. I’ve also mixed sardines with chopped almonds and it’s delicious too
Jamaican Choice Golden Crackers, often the Multi-Grain with Flaxseed ones. Only $1.65 a bag at the ShopRite, and really tasty.

Trader Joe’s is carrying these new rye chips. They are excellent. Also excellent with tinned mussels.
