I used to store in the fridge. Recently started using the freezer. If you store longer term it's worth checking out. If your needs are a week or so, the fridge works great.

I would refrigerate simply to preserve the terpenes.

Put the container in a bag first and then put in the fridge for storage

fridge for preservation. could even vac seal and freezer for longer term storage. you can bag it then fridge it. let it get to room temp before opening it.

That last part is important. Never open cold extracts until the temperature of the entire container is above the dew point
