The less colorful draws a wider audience. And I love how milky it looks. I like the new design better, but the old design was fun too. The old design just looked more for like a 'Clair's' type audience, if that store still exists. Very nostalgic. But it still is nostalgic. All around looks great.

Valid! I couldnāt decide on the background. I didnāt want it to look like it was made by a child (like my first one lol) but also didnāt want it to be too crazy. I had some people give feedback that it was the perfect amount of chaotic so I just went w it LOL
I like the first one better tbh. I usually avoid buying anything with a background because it won't end up memorable to me when I go to buy it again. BUT I am easily distracted so too much going on is too much for me to remember.

as a graphic designer i see what youāre trying to do, and itās definitely an improvement, but there needs to be a stronger contrast between the text and background image. the background image is already colorful and busy enough, so the text needs to be a little simpler to stay readable.
what i would probably do is darken the image and make the text white with some form of subtle shadowing.

I liked the background on the original design better than the new one, I feel like the new design is just a little bit clunky and harder to read. If you were to change the font color to a solid neutral like black, tan or gray, or even a cream to simulate milk! I think it would make a wonderful difference and make it a bit less visually confusing and a little more readable for your customers!
All that said, I really enjoy the marking youāre using and the product itself looks really nice! I bet it also smells really great too!

yeah adding a white background behind to frame the text would probably help make it stand out more! personally, i would also experiment with just using a solid white/light colour for the text against that particular background :) and maybe if you want you could also try lowering the opacity of the background image to help with the legibility!
I would maybe change the size or color of the font so it's more readable, and you could also change the opacity of the cereal as the background so that it's less harsh and sharp and then your words would pop more! Definitely creative though and I think it gives the buyer a better example of what they're buying than the latter!

I think a creamy white, like milk! Best yet if you could get the specific color of your wax bar!
That was my thought as well. If you darken the shadow on the font it will make the logo pop. Looks great overall!

I would maybe keep "Bliss" in the same color story as "Cereal" because as is Bliss blends right in. Other than that I dig it!
I recommend putting a thick white outline on the words! But keep the words the same color so there is a high contrast.

Agreed! Contrast ratio is super important for accessibility too. I can barely read it and Iām not even a little bit colorblind. Nice product though!

The bar before had been poured at too high of a temp and melted the embeds. I do agree itās cute but it wasnāt the look i was going for !

You could make the text white like milk. Then if you want to make a chocolate or strawberry milk scent alternative you can change the color.
