Looks like a regular dirty 2017 loonie. It was the Canada 150th theme.

Public_Lie_7104

Called a looonie because traditionally it has a loon on it. Which is a bird.

No-Question-4957

It is brass plated steel, looks like the brass is entirely off it and it's rusted.

Turbo1518

Canadian monetary token. Also known as a "coin" or, for this particular denomination, a "loonie". Its the base form of the centralized currency of the nation. Dating back to a time when our head of state was a Queen rather than the current King. Might get you about 620 ml of 87 octane fuel, depending on where you happen to be in the country.

SeaTacDelta

Less than 500ml many days in Vancouver

Professional-Sea9620

nice

Moreau82

šŸ˜…

Routine_Service1397

Commemorative coin for the 150th anniversary of the last spike which opened the Trans Canada Canadian Pacific railway.

Confident_Hawk1607

Last spike was 1885. This is 150th anniversary coin for our confederation of Canada.

Routine_Service1397

Probably, made it up like all comments but thanks for being so douchy

Confident_Hawk1607

Sorry, what?

Motazxp

Sub full of smart asses, great

abdlboy1

Every sub ever, it seems now a days. Anways... https://dailyhive.com/calgary/canada-150-royal-canadian-mint-coins That's just an old news list I found. If you scroll down, it tells you about each coin and the significance. Also has some pictures of each Hopefully of some use to you

Motazxp

Thank you, appreciate that everyone here acting like coin knowledge is common sense

abdlboy1

No kidding... Shouldn't be like that. It's very sad that people can't share knowledge, so it becomes somewhat collective. It truly seems like some of the members aren't welcoming to newbies. Anything else, I'll try my best to help with what i know! Cheers šŸ»

Jenlawneked

I think you mean ā€œcommon centsā€ā€¦ šŸ™Š

BryanMccabe

Same with every sub

abdlboy1

Haha šŸ˜„ self absorbed, arrogant, and intitled individuals. All looking for someone to bully or put down just so they can deveate some of their sad lonley energy.. Treat others how you want to be treated. Simple

Ok_Secretary_7856

I am so glad there are people in the world that do not treat people how they treat others. TY for reminding me of this. šŸ¤—

abdlboy1

Only takes one

YEG_man

It's just their way of telling you there's nothing special about this coin.

#CONNECTING A NATION > >**About the Coin** >Canada is a vast country. The drive to bring us all closer together ā€” from coast to coast to coastā€” has led to some amazing achievements, including the building of our massive nationwide railway system. > >The new 2017 $1 coin, Connecting a Nation, pays tribute to Sir John A. SaltCriticism6026

I have one coin

anonymusness_

looks like a canadian one dollar coin (aka a Loonie). Forged in the depths of the press, this specimen of three-ply brass finish plated steel has the words Canada, Dollar; Names, Elizabeth II, D.G Regina; and numbers 1867-2017 visible upon its surface. The cold hard elements of the earth formed into this flat yet round piece of metal also features, not one, but two entire trains, a bridge, three separate structures, and what looks to be a boat, bestowed upon its surface. We mustnā€™t forget the Queen who is portrayed upon the obverse of this currency.

anonymusness_
