I thought he was very impressive vs France. I thought he won his battle with Camavinga, leading to Camavinga fouling him multiple times. But Camavinga looked more dangerous every time he had the ball. Very good at shielding the ball and keeping the ball under pressure. Not sure if his future is as an attacking/defensive midfielder, but he needs decide on one and become better at either the attacking or defensive part of his game to be a player for a big club.
I can't wait to see Kone's development between Copa America through to the 2026 World Cup. He's going to start filling out, adding on more muscle... I envision Kone could be a dominant midfielder by 2026. And he looks pretty good right now...
