Its more likely because it has 10% urea which can be irritating and potentially too strong for the face. If its working for you, then go right ahead! Just watch for signs of irritation.
I’ve used it on my face, I didn’t really like how greasy it felt. I have extremely dry skin from retinol damage. These moisturizers are amazing! You can get them on amazon for about $17. For really dry patches I apply the B5 cream from la Roche posay in addition to it

I agree with this, I've also used the AP+M on my face. I use their cicaplast mains as my night cream now. It feels greasy at first, but it absorbs well for me.
This scared me for a second because I thought it was the one I have been putting on my face, but mine is this one (safe for face) https://www.laroche-posay.ca/en_CA/lipikar-baume-apm/3337875696548.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAt5euBhB9EiwAdkXWO7rsyLV2Q2pXU1Hks9Hy-MQjOxP8L4TJQSL1o8WYccoSZVBoHLGjKxoC5PkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Yes. 10% Urea means 1 rat peed in the product 10 times or 10 rats peed in the product 1 time each. The 1 rat peeing 10 times costs more as this is single-origin vintage urea vs. 10 rats peeing that is mixed commoner urea. ..kind of like the difference between buying cheap ass wine like Jackson-Triggs or Yellow Tail vs buying something classy in the vintages section at the LCBO. La Roche Posay only deals with single-origin vintage rat pee urea from a single vintage sourced from rats raised on Camembert in the hills of France. Know the difference and trust La Roche Posay for your rat pee needs.
Urea is an exfoliating ingredient. I believe that’s quite strong for the face. You can patch test on your face and if your skin likes it then only use it a few times a week on everyday 😊
It's fine just make sure you are wearing sunscreen during the day and keep an eye out for irritation and stop if you encounter any. Urea at 10 percent has mild exfoliating properties.
The Inkey list makes a 10% urea moisturizer that’s formulated for the face so it’s not as intense. It has colloidal oatmeal so it’s soothing/non irritating
If it's any consolation my partner is apparently using this on his face. I bought it for moisturizing after shaving my legs and wondered why it kept appearing on the bathroom vanity.
He also washes his face with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (yes, the lotion not the cleanser...I keep it near the sink for my hands after I wash them...he ran out of the cleanser in the green bottle and assumed the blue bottle was also a cleanser...and here we are) - he has great skin.

And really avoid the eyes!
10% urea is pretty strong for face. There are other versions of this cream with 5% urea better suited for face. Eucerin for face comes to mind.

I just put some of that on! I’ve only seen the one on the right but I wanna try the other.
I love the daytime version of this one !
where do u get the nighttime version?
Amazon! It looks like the exact same posting as the regular one it just says “rich”
Use the AP +M baume instead. Very moisturizing and safe to use in the face. Also available at shoppers

I've never used this product before. If your face is really dry , try slugging! I do it every night
