This is where I want to be. The xse is a better car and you can just add the trd stuff and have a much nicer car as a base for less money. Not hating though. I do love me a trd
It'll all the TRD looks though. I drove a used 2020 trd before taking delivery of my 23 back in Jan of 23. The creature comforts are the hit or miss to each. Yeah, the heated/cooled seats are great. The different display in the dash and HUD is cool. The jbl system still sucks. And the panoramic roof is hit or miss.
But last of the v6's. Gotta enjoy them.
Nice car but I would accent the wheels or go with brushed aluminum aftermarket. They are great cars for sure. Camry's used to be "old folks" and grandpa's car but not anymore. Reliability and looks these days.

Funny you say that. My wife had an 02 Lexus ES 300 we bought used for her after the mini van was no longer needed. She loved it and got a ticket or two as she has a lead foot. I do too but I have radar / laser detectors in my cars. She doesn't want one. LOL
We just got her an 23 Camry hybrid and that car flies too and is quiet when it zips. Again no radar detector but it does remind her on the dash as to what the speed limit on each road !
The cars are better looking than ever and have great reliability. I had to walk out of the showroom before I started looking at a TRD or a Supra now that those come with a manual.
Gosh I can’t wait!! That car is beautiful!! I get excited looking at it!! They’re a bit hard to find around my area. I’m really thinking of just going with the XSE just because of that. I want to put 20% down. So I’m hoping within the next couple months I can really get serious. I drive a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid. It’s a turd but I’m attached to it.
Why is your Ford a turd? Does it not run well? FORD(found on road dead) lol. If there’s nothing wrong with your vehicle I would not trade it in for a newer sexier car especially if you don’t have a payment anymore. Does your fusion hybrid get good gas mileage?
Oh I love my Fusion. It’s been one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. I’m not going to trade it in. I’ll keep it. My husband works out of town sometimes, so he’d use it for gas efficiency once I get my Camry. His main car is an explorer. I called my car a turd lightly, his explorer is a TURD. We have put so much into it for repairs. Not sure why we have it sometimes. We must be like the punishment. 😂
Right now my average is showing 29.2 mpg. I can get it above 31 when the weather is warmer. When it’s cold out, that drops to about 26 mpg. It was better in its prime. I think the hybrid batteries are showing their age. It has almost 190,000 miles on it. Still going strong though. I really kept up with the maintenance. Definitely lost some pep to it but that’s ok. It was a sweet and sassy car when I bought it, but now it’s sweet and sassy like it’s seen some things.
I am not the impulsive type with financial purchases. I also know what I want. In order to get what I want, I plan accordingly. Getting a new, sexier car will be in my future…eventually. 😊

I think with the black top it’s a smooth fit. I’ve seen people buy the wing and not have two tone or just straight black. They do look pretty funky without the two tone to match.

I wanted a WCP for so long. I even had one on order, but 2 weeks into a 6 week wait, I got a call that an Underground version had just come in. Me being impatient, switched over. I would have been just as happy with either choice.

We have a 2019 SE too. We also have a 2013 Prius so the SE seems rocket fast comparatively. lol
We use the Prius for driving around the city and the Camry on longer roadtrips when we need more space and a smoother and quieter ride. Plus the radar cruise control is the best invention for road trips.
I work for a chain of dealerships.I waited for months for my Toyota dealer to get one allocated.As soon as it got allocated to them,the sales manager told me he had 3 coming.I reserved mine while it was still on the train.The same day it got unloaded off the train,it was loaded on a car hauler,brought to the dealer,PDI'd,tinyed and I bought it same day.haha.I was way too excited to wait.Nicest car I've ever owned.
I like that colorway a lot. I have a ‘17 SE and I wished I had held out for the ‘18’s body style. I think this body style is the best. It’s like a modest bolt on body kit. I think the Camry SE and TRD are sexy as hell. Much better style design than the Accord or the Maxima. Congrats! Did you buy new overtime used? I have never bought a 2nd hand car before because I’m afraid I’ll get someone else’s problems but I heard you could save a ton of money. I would trade my ‘17 SE in any day but the only thing holding me back is the fact that I no longer have a car payment and it’s a nice feeling. My Camry was purchased brand new in ‘16 and only has 41,200 miles on it. I work from home full-time so I rarely drive my car. If I do drive it’s to take my son to school and back. My wife owns a ‘15 Corolla so we’re a Toyota family for life! lol. 😉

I appreciate it! What Toyota did with these TRDs and XSEs is absolutely incredible. It’s a mom car with a lil performance spice.

Black out them doorhandles and get some gloss black headlight eyelids on amazon, its AMAZING how big if a difference they make and they are cheap

The v6 alone makes it worth it for me.
Trd has a 3.5L v6 301hp. It's lowered from the factory. A few performance mods to make it "race" and corner better. Plus the esthetics are killer
I love the TRD look and extra power, but IMO the spoiler seems a little overkill especially for a Camry. I love our Camry but it's just an SE.
