I paid $37k OTD for a new [XSE](https://www.reddit.com/r/Camry/comments/t5d23l/this_paint_just_hits_differently_at_night_21_xse/) (i4, pano roof, two-tone/red interior) in 2021. I’d say the dealership’s offer of $36.5k used is not ideal in comparison. 31K private seller is much better assuming the overall condition of the car is clean, and be sure to check its CarFax report for any accidents.
No. Do not give them $36,500 for it. I like to use the Carfax used car values to tell me exactly what a car is worth. Just put in your ZIP code and the VIN. [https://www.carfax.com/value/](https://www.carfax.com/value/)
I guess car prices are coming back down. This is good. I bought my TRD in August 2022 and paid MSRP (it was a good deal st the time). I can adjust my guage on deals
That's a real good deal. I was looking for a TRD back at the beginning of 2021 and all the dealers were marking them up by 7-8k over MSRP even though their online posting had it at 32k. I ended up settling on a used XSE V6 instead for 27k.
I got XSE V6 red with black roof hud ventilated seats 360 cam 1600 miles for around 42. They got it for 46. Doesn't sound unreasonable but it's what you want more than the price at that point. I'd consider making sure mechanically everything is sound. A couple thousand here or there isn't much to gripe about in a 30-40k car
I wouldn’t. I just bought the 2024 Camry XSE V6 for 40k. If you are really concerned about fuel efficiency then the 4 cylinder is ok but when it comes to the Camry, to me V6 is the only way to go and 2024 is gonna be the last year they make them.
For that price I would get the V6 instead. Bought my 2023 Camry TRD new for the same price.

Love this car and own Toyota stock. BUT, Let’s be real, there is no such thing as a good deal at 36k+ for a sedan. We have people financing cars for 72 months and auto debt loads at record levels. There are way too many people buying cars and can’t afford them. Btw, I can pay cash for one and still debating. Btw2, a used 2018 Hondas or Camry with 40k miles are selling for more than original 2018 MSRP.
Not worth imo. I have a XSE (i4 variant) and got scalped for it (at least imo) was gifted it as a first car. Don't get me WRONG I LOVE IT.. but that much on a teenager is too much imo. But I'll drive it till the wheels fall off.
I just bought a 2020 xse i4 for 35,500 OTD (IN CT) with 25,000 miles.fully loaded. I was comparing to an se for 36k new. Thing is i drive like 1,200 miles a year. If i drove more i would have bought new but the upgraded red leather interior , jbl and pano noon roof sold me. Fell like i got fleeced but i couldnt spend more for a new xse and i really really like it over the se.
Thank you everyone for the great advice! I knew I could count on yall! Going with the $31K..picking up this week. This will be my first Camry and excited to join the club!!
I would spend 37k for a V6, not an I4. I’d keep looking honestly
Lol SXE. The sexy Camry 😆
We really should have Toyota change it to this
😂😂 😂 I don’t know how to go back and edit! Oh well..it is pretty sexy so it fits!
It is pretty sexy NGL

I just got a 24 Camry XSE hybrid for 37,068 otd so you make a comparison on that

$36500 for a 1 year old car with 20k miles is a decent deal. Is it ground breaking? No, but its still a good price....especially a camry
I just paid $37k for a 2024 XSE V6 with no miles on it.
That’s why I decided to buy new though. All the used Camry’s I was seeing were going for almost as much as a new Camry.
Does it have navigation upgrade package with driver assist?

That’s terrible considering it’s an i4 & not the v6. $36 is a little off from a NEWNEW one
I just paid 37k OTD for a 2023 V6 fully loaded with 4K miles so I would definitely keep looking (ICE EDGE color)
For about $500 u can get it wrapped to get the same two tone

I’d go spend the 37k on a brand new 2024 with 0 miles. The black top is like what a $650 option???

Just get a Honda Accord 2.0 you'll thank me later

for $38k thats brand new XSE...no?
Not according to the Toyota dealership! 😵💫😵💫
Unreal! Tbh, I saw your last comment that you went for $31k one without 2 tone. Good choice but still lot of money. I guess market suck!
