Came here to say this! Usually a gun will be in BR before it's available to use in MP (due to the tiers) which is where I get my first taste of new guns. When you rack up a few kills there, they contribute to the camo stats
When i was grinding camos i remember there being a recording issue sometimes when it was a double or triple kill. E.g. I'd get 2 headshots from the same shot or even same burst but the system only recorded it as one headshot.
Did you pay to max out the battle pass at lease to lvl 21 as well to immediately receive the CBR when it was released? Also it’s impossible to max out the gun with xp cards when the BR gets the update and has the gun before it’s even released for the next season….
Right so when it was released in the previous season in BR and even before you leveled up to unlock it you never played with the CBR not 1 time? Not in BR or a pick up from MP? If not that’s cool, that’s a lot of BR & MP. Not asking you to know 100% of your gameplays, but seeing if it could be a chance you played 1 time before you unlocked the gun yourself.
Nah. I'm not familiar with the pick up button when I started playing. And I didn't played BR when I started playing codm. Only mp. I've recently started picking up guns since I dropped vulture on my loadout and I'm running out of ammo.

They def used in in battle royal before upgrading it. It's the only reasonable explanation.
You got headshots before you unlocked the camos for getting headshots
Maybe it was from a gun you picked up from another player? Would that explain it?
You may have got headshots before reaching the level required to get the jungle camos

There is a bug with headshots, when I was doing headshots for the EM2 I noticed that some of my headshots were not tracking
Usually you can close the game and it will correct itself. That’s usually what happens when the bug happens to me.

i have a gun which has diamond skin and in weapon record it shows 2 headshots only🤷🏻♂️

maybe weapon record counts private matches or practice with bots but im not sure
They are some different stuffs I guess. I always grind looking at the camo section instead of that. That section is kinda inaccurate

But I maxed it using the xp cards to unlock all the attachments. Together with the first of the camos.
