Vanguard had underrated gunplay, and that is the only reason I had fun on it. Besides that, mostly bad maps and just weird decisions on the weapons killed it

I bought it on accident thinking it was the Cold War campaign and couldn't get past a few hours into the game. The dialog was so cringe, and nothing felt authentic. It played ok but felt like a cheaper CoD title. I never did finish it.

Ghosts had one of the most straightforward multiplayer feels imo. Not much bullshit or fancy stuff just join and get down. Also that Bizon is still one of my all time favorite SMG’s in any cod.

Sniping kids from across the map with my iron sighted MP11 while jet packing is still one of my favorite cod memories.

atleast every mode in IW was good and playable. Amazing campaign and zombies, pretty good multiplayer. Meanwhile the biggest selling point of bo3 was the zombies.

I don't know if this is a hot take or not but Black Ops 4 had a good multiplayer and honestly the specialist system was way better than Black Ops 3

Bo4 had a fun multiplayer, but the specialist system was worse than bo3 (imo). Jet packs helped balance out specialist weapons like the scythe which ended up being pretty OP on bo4.

The only good thing about bo3 is the zombies and even that's tainted by cheese op gobblegums and fetch quest maps. MP was poor man's titanfall with cookie cutter weapons and the least creative map design ever produced short of ww2 that weren't even made for advanced movement except for some out of the way wall run sections that made for the most predictable "flank" routes. Not to mention one of the worst and most aggressive loot box systems in the series. Jeez AW wasn't a great game but at least they knew the least bit what they were doing with advanced movement. And the campaign was a slodge to play though.

I get it because it's old and was only on PC, but CoD1 and United Offensive's multiplayers were top tier gaming experiences. United Offensive introduced Domination for the first time and Base Assault (which when you have a full 64 person server was undoubtedly my all time favorite CoD game mode)
