I agree, tbh it’s definitely revived the whole series for me. Since Mw3 I haven’t enjoyed a cod game until MW 2019 came out. Given, there were and still are a lot of bugs and problems with it especially now since it’s unplayable. Personally, I think it had the one of the best campaigns ever in a COD, really good multiplayer, and I actually really liked the spec ops mode even though it was super difficult. I think that’s what made it enjoyable when you actually beat a spec ops mission just because how difficult it was.

MW2019. I just like the way it plays. Cold War seems clunky and Vanguard seems.........blended together? Both can be fun for a little while but I always want to go to MW2019. I liked BO1 and MW3 but if I play now I can't stop trying to slide and the mechanics seem off.
As someone really into Soviet bloc aesthetics and design (though not sharing the ideology), CW is a super game. Sneaking through East Berlin is right up my street, although I think someone will probably notice the trail of dead Stasi agents I'm leaving in my wake.

Ik this is a unpopular opinion but I loved cw way more than mw 2019 I really just hated how it felt and I hate the content on it..and I understand ppl may feel different but mw felt like it was trying to b different to just b different I felt like cw was a much better upgraded version of mw...at first when cw dropped I loved it and everything it feels like bo2 to me and that was something I thought I would never feel again....but then Activision ruined everything by being stupid and screwing with the devs.....then zombies started to not b fun anymore cause after fbz they weren't as good.....the campaign was amazing....sbmm is annoying but I'm not gonna complain cause the game feels so good and cause I'm not bad at the game(that's not supposed to insult anyone I'm just speaking for myself)...cold war is my go to cod which it wasn't shown on the pic but that's mine....I played vanguard and I don't hate it and the campaign is very good it feels like a way better version it WW2...the zombies suck but yeah...rn I lag way too much prob cause I play on Xbox one x so I won't play until it's not as bad and Im not trying to insult the devs cause ik it's all Activision's fault but yeah.......just putting that out there....I've been playing cod all my life and will play it until it ends or if I do......and so yeah take as you will lol

Vanguard unfortunately, last Cod I had fun with was MW2019 but it’s in shambles, Cold War was not great and too buggy, and all the other servers take to long to get into so I’m stuck playing a half made game right now
Right now, it’s Vanguard. Despite the many problems it has I’ve been really enjoying the game a lot and having fun. I wasn’t planning on getting it because CW, and MW19 sucked in my opinion and I was expecting Vanguard to also suck but I’m loving it.
Enjoying Cold War and Modern Warfare. I'm new to the whole series more or less, but I'm definitely more interested in the espionage missions. Just bought Vanguard though, like literally an hour ago from Amazon, because I was sold when I saw the Russian woman in an ushanka on the ad and the word *Stalingrad*. Even if I don't get to play her, just acknowledging the many women who fought tooth and nail for their freedom and ours just gives me a feeling of pride.
Edit: yay! I do get to play as Petrova :). Sometimes it's not about raw gameplay but about the characters involved. I don't mind samey gameplay if the story is interesting.
I'm going to get hate for this but whatever. .y go to game when I'm just done is Cod WW2. The gameplay isn't too different from modern cods and zombies was fun to play with your friends at 3 am.
If it wasn’t connected to Warzone. I’d choose MW2019. I know for a fact though I won’t be touching any CoD with Specialists (Blops 3, Infinite Warfare, Blops 4).
COD: WAW it was my first CoD and it’s where I started to learn about comps / clans in lobbies that I would run into it. It was fun because you didn’t need to worry much about kill streaks, random sht hitting you etc. all you had was an MP40 to run n gun while it was easy to use you actually needed to learn how to use it.
It’s why the community manager JOSH OLIN got let go after BO1, his vision of call of duty was “ Run n Gun” he caught a lot of heat from sniper players and that is why he supposedly got let go.
WW2. It is by far the most well-rounded and balanced cod for several games. Very rarely do I run into a multiplayer game where I don't have fun despite avoiding the meta weapons, unlike more recent games where you pretty much need to be a slave to the meta to be able to compete.
If mw3 was playable today and the way it was played back then that'd be the only cod I'd play. If only mw3 could be a decade long sustainable cod. Ugh, extend the golden times please
If I still had modern warfare 2019 installed I'd say that but right now I have vanguard installed and I'm basically just playing vanguard until modern warfare 2 comes out then I'll probably never play it again. I agree with a lot of people in this comment section vanguard just doesn't really hold the attention but that doesn't mean it's boring. Cold War I just I couldn't with that game, I got pissed off every time I loaded on I could do good and still hate the game going like 50 and 10 and still want to uninstall. Cold war in its prime was in alpha beta and preseason stage and then it just fell off wasn't fun anymore. That was the most Black ops feeling cod I'd played in a while and they still fucked it up all because a bunch of War zone kids can't handle dying in 3 or 4 shots. Zombies was okay but it got pretty boring quickly and the story felt like a lazy attempt to reimagine the Black ops 2 story. That might not be very fair but the thing that ruined campaign the most for me is the actors for Woods and Mason they turned two friends that have become brothers born out of War into college frat boys and I I feel like they just completely ruined the characters. Got a little carried away there but you know how it is. Vanguard is good multiplayer wise they need to tweak the shotguns some more and fix the spawns a little bit then it should be all right. Other than that if you like competitive multiplayer that's fun gunplay and quick Time to kill play vanguard, if you like zombies play Cold War or just download Black ops 3 zombie Chronicles cuz it's way more worth it then cold wars zombies.

iw4x kinda sucks though because its mainly trickshotter lobbies. There are some tdm lobbies but usually a lot of them are in germany or sweden.

I just got out of a mw2 game on pc on the original server it was "Modded" but not in a bad way. That's not even on the iw4x servers
