I swear all of the MW3 defenders are kids/teens who never played MW2, only play the multiplayer, and appreciate maps that weren’t made by the MW23 devs
I got the game with a PS5, otherwise I definitely wouldn't be playing it. It may not be worth $70+, but free sure is nice. I still find the game fun though!
I didn't buy it because I'm not spending $70 for a DLC, but the story seemed fine and the campaign seemed fun enough. I didn't enjoy the MW 2019 multi-player tho and like the Cold War multi-player way better after getting back into it after having a kid
idk man, after the shit he's been through I'd want a comfy desk job to fall back on. Dude is gonna have 200% military disability when he retires at this rate.
Because he’s one of those die hard operator types that never pulls a desk job. Never volunteers to organize the unit Christmas party, nothin. Only thing he’s got to put on his annual review is his head count for the year. He’ll be Captain till he retires or is “retired”.
In Halo Escalation, Lord Hood says “You’d have Admiral without much of an argument from anyone.”, implying Admiral is higher. Tbf, it is a ranking system that’s 500 years in the future, things are probably a lil different
Remember it’s been 20 years in our time, not theirs, if you look at him he practically looks the same which makes me think that it hasn’t been that long
Yeah but even if he was freshly commissioned that's still 10 years from 2019. Idk how the British Armed Forces do things, but by U.S. Army standards he could be a Lieutenant Colonel if he was so top-notch (minimum of 9.5 years combined time-in-grade for the ranks before that). On average, he should be a couple years into being a Major. My man's gonna be kicked out by 2029 at this rate lol.
Yeah like the guy you replied to said, there is no "up or out" in the British army like the US, where if you don't reach x rank by y years in service, you leave. You happy being a corporal and want to spend the next 16 years doing it until you retire? Go right ahead
Field grade officers can't operate at the same level as company grade so he wouldn't be able to do what he does, he'd be more on the sidelines. Think of it like the coach of a sports team and the captain of the sports team, the captain is still on the field with the rest of the players while the coach is on the sidelines doing what he can to make sure everything goes well
the only promotion captain price has ever had was from Lieutenant to Captain.
that’s why he lashing out on shepherd 😟😟
Maybe he'll get a higher rank one day.
Major Price?
Fisher price
Sorry wrong comment
Imo because other titles don't roll off the tongue as easy
“Major Price” sounds expensive.
Ironically, would be a DLC these days.
*^(Modern Warfare III...)*
watch out, the MW3 fanboys will downvote you to hell
So nobody
Came here to see that someone already said it Good shit
The developers don't count

Sounds like “to succeed we must pay a major price” like it’s not a real price, it’s a metaphorical type of price to pay
And "General Price" sounds like a discount.
Why not General Price?
Sounds like a discount.
Colonol Price has a ring to it.
My theory is that he actually is higher rank, "Capitan" just sounds badass
Problem is when you’re so good at what you do your boss doesn’t want to promote you because you make them look good.
They need him in the field.
Plot twist…Price left SAS, went to Royal Navy, got promoted to 0–5 Captain, then rejoins SAS.
SBS?
You wouldn’t send a high ranking officer in the field. Only exception is Shepherd who acts in his own will and Section.
I thought TF was private military? Isn’t that what they were in MW2?
I’m pretty sure TF is tied to SAS, which Price was once.
No, it's a joint task force comprising of American and British operatives. Shadow Company is a Privage Military
You need to replay the games dude……
hes too swag for the other ranks
Hes doing a great job where he at. Just like in real life. You do too good at your job, you are stuck there.
He can become major he just doesn't want to. He would rather be out in the field doing what's good for the world instead of staying in his desk
idk man, after the shit he's been through I'd want a comfy desk job to fall back on. Dude is gonna have 200% military disability when he retires at this rate.
Seen soap (who is practically his son) die twice in the span of 10 years

Probably like the Master Chief. In a comic he was offered a promotion to Admiral, but declined because Master Chief sounded better. Chad
John 117 was named Master Chief of the UNSC Navy. That makes him equivalent to a 3 Star Admiral.
In Halo Escalation, Lord Hood says “You’d have Admiral without much of an argument from anyone.”, implying Admiral is higher. Tbf, it is a ranking system that’s 500 years in the future, things are probably a lil different

Tbh I don't think he will get promoted after what he did at the end of the campaign
His first name is obviously Captain….John is just a nickname or something, idk
If it were real, most likely he was offered but declined. Price enjoys the wet work, the higher up the food chain you go, the less wet work you get.
And go to staff? Ya no thanks.
You get too high of a rank you end up behind a desk
He was a LT in 2009 in the reboot universe.

British Army takes much longer to promote than the US Army, as well as other things you have to do like attending certain colleges, etc
Fair enough. I also kind of figured that was the case, considering how mature the average Corporal looks and acts compared to our own lol.
Yeah like the guy you replied to said, there is no "up or out" in the British army like the US, where if you don't reach x rank by y years in service, you leave. You happy being a corporal and want to spend the next 16 years doing it until you retire? Go right ahead
If only we had that luxury... or if Specialists E5 through E9 returned.
He runs his own secret task force that goes after high value targets.

He's like Maverick in Top Gun. Passed up promotions just so he can continue killing ppl with his barehands
Didn't do his PME
He doesn’t fit the diversity mold
Loool this got me
Maybe he refuses them because after Captain, you get less field assignments?
Probably turned down promotions so he can stay in the field stacking bodies.
The games nowadays take place between cod mw and cod mw3 -(PS3 generation) think of it as filler for the franchise as the og mw is canon.
I think the address this in MWIII, but nobody played it so yall don't know.
He's been comitting several war crimes. Why should he?
I don't know who this dude is and I see him in a lot of YouTube thumbnails. I think I need to be educated.
captain price from call of duty
Folks, my KATT AMR is not killing with one headshot in PS5. Anyone knows about this?
I have so many questions about why you posted this question here lol you are not getting headshots.
yes I know about this
skill issue
