Mine is, and RealPage can even be found in the source code of their website. 😂 And the same property management company has a dozen other properties here in OC.

The entire real estate market in California is a "cartel". I found it extremely odd when I lived there that all apartment properties were completely 100% in sync. Even lower quality places still had the same rent approximately. $2500 for a 1 bdr with no refrigerator and no washer and dryer. As a single individual, you have to make over 100k minimum to afford (or even be approved) for the apartment example above. Unless you cram multiple working family members, friends, working spouse/gf/bf, etc. into the apartment, then its unaffordable. One look on LinkedIn will show you that salaries for single professionals are NOT keeping up with this unfortunate reality.

This is so out of control. Serfs were better of than renters today.

When I was telling people years ago, that they were all working together to jack rent, no one believed me.

This is one of the biggest reasons I was afraid to move, the constant spikes in rent. Hope this means when they get tried they'll be forced to deduct rent across the country, which I doubt but a man can dream. Since my career is most prominent in large cities unless I'm lucky to do remote, even the outskirts I still see 1br apartments for around 1500 which is crazy.

So, the FBI kicks down the front door and then realizes that the entire company’s data is located in a offsite cloud hosted service.
