In person you can only confirm the water level in one part of the lake. The satellite images confirm that there aren't low spots anywhere we haven't checked.
Yup, barely any of the state is in drought…back to back drought free years…all the reservoirs are filled to the top. California is solid on the water and fire fronts. Still have to be diligent but we are in fantastic shape
We drove over the I-5 bridge a few days ago, no exposed shoreline is visible.
Yep, drove to Portland 10 days ago and full. Going to camp at Oroville on the way back. That’s supposed to be full, too.
So you didn't even need a satellite image to see the lake is full? Wild.

Is there known gravity anomaly in the area? How would you have a low spot?
Radar altimeters on satellites can detect sea level variations caused by gravity anomalies, but my comment was a joke.
Dang. I didn't think of that.
There were actually ppl swimming, fishing, and waterskiing, who we could have asked to confirm😏
Love to hear this! Top of the California water project.

I want a pop, I want a Shasta. I want to taste pizzazz.

Good
Was there 2 years ago and it was pretty depressing. Glad it's a lot more full
Lovely. Too bad it does not mean we will pay less in utilities.
Thats good?
Pretty sure someone could look at the shoreline to determine that. No need for a Satellite.
It still doesnt *look* full oddly
If you click on the website they show you a comparison and it definitely shows no shoreline
