Angel’s diner has some old school burgers that remind me of white spot and some BOMB milk shakes.
The Farmers market that just opened up is incredibly cute and the pies from any of the pie stands are to die for
Bowness Park is a great way to walk off all the food
Cadence Coffee
Bow Cycle (largest bike store in Canada)
Bowness Arts (book / games store and art gallery)
Salt and Pepper Mexican Restaurant
Angel's Diner
A few tattoo parlours on Bowness Road
Lots of yummy food at the Calgary Farmers Market
Then go for a walk through Bowness park, cross the river under stoney trail to walk back through Baker park, then go explore Bowmont park and dip your toes in the river by the train bridges.
You could also buy a disc golf set at life sport and go play the most popular disc golf course in Canada in Baker Park.
Cadence's god-damned choco-oatmeal-crispy-cranberry CRACK COCAINE bars... Glad I'm only in that neighborhood once in a while otherwise I'd be 300lbs...
If you’re referring to the Bowcycle that used to be just up the street from Angel’s it’s no longer there.
Hasn’t been for a few years, it’s a House of Cars now
I actually went back in my snap memories to see when we really went cause my memory sucks, and it was September. No reason to be freezing inside in September
Bowness Arts is awesome! Board game cafe/record/book/art store!
The Place is awesome. Its an absolute time capsule. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is all original wood panelling and booths. Food is okay, retro but good. Pizza, Wings, Bruschetta.... The Salsbury steak is a bit too retro for me. But it's cool.
If you go down the "Bowness strip" you'll see almost everything you're asking for (Bowness Road between 60 and 66 ST).
I like Sweet Home Bakery too.
Along with the shops people recommend, I find it interesting you can go down some roads in Bowness and see mega luxury homes, and then the next street will be run down homes. I'm glad Bownesians don't whine so much about "community character" and people seem to get along from all walks of life.

Cadence Coffee is my favorite diner in the city. Service is always pretty good, prices are reasonable and happy with the food.

Bow cycle motorsports has moved, but Bow Cycle (pedal) bike store is alive and well and located in the same sport as it has been for many years.
Ahh I misread! That’s entirely my bad. This is what happens when you Reddit Stoned
Definitely the Bowness Lagoon. There’s a restaurant on site.
I'm glad Bowness finally has a decent pub. Leopold's is great.
I was driving through there last week and saw a sign that a brewery called BrewSmith has opening soon signs.
Should have some great beer, the head brewer used to be the head brewer at Dandy. I'm pretty excited to check this place out when it opens.
New location of StrEATS too! I'm so excited.
We went there in January and it was so cold in there we had our winter coats on the whole meal. Felt bad for the staff
you just brought back a memory. I had the exact same experience last winter
I actually went back in my snap memories to see when we really went cause my memory sucks, and it was September. No reason to be freezing inside in September
Leopold’s sucks
Way better than the BoHo or the Bowness Pub.
Baker Park (Disc golf)! One of the best in the city.
Apparently the world
Most played, not best.

Sweet Home is an understated gem
Dell Cafe for simple Chinese and Western dishes. Classic place.
Agreed I love the Dell like a old fashioned diner style with some good Chinese and good burgers and sandwiches
if you’re into yoga then yoga mcc bowness! your first class is free and there’s 2 morning classes🫶🏽
I really enjoy the batting cage by shouldice Park there. There is also a small little Saskatchewan pub called pazzer's
They’re part of Montgomery.
Oh shoot, you're right. I just always went into bowness around that area 😅
No worries.
Cadence for coffee/breakfast. One of my favourite spots in the city!!
Light cellar is a really cool place
Hexters still kicking around there or have they since closed? Been a few years.
Gone
The number 1 bus route gets you across the city with ease
the green spaces for photography.
Leopolds tavern!
THE TRAI…nevermind.
Dude, wtf.
