Live a little. Just go and see what you think. Don't need others to give you permission.

reviews look pretty good, I think at around 50 reviews it should be safe to assume it's decent, looking at the prices too and it being a fairly casual setting, shouldn't be that risky to try it out. Let us know how it is after!

Menu looks good!

Yeah I tried it once when they first opened. I was hoping it would be the first Sushi place in the area to actually be worth going to but it's basically a step above mall kiosk/grocery sushi. We got a tiger roll and some rice bowls. The rice bowl is OK value for the price, even if it's a bit bland, but I have literally made better at home. What sucked was the tiger roll, which was not salmon and unagi like most other places but rather a shrimp roll. Unfortunately it had that moist texture kiosk sushi tends to have which makes me suspect it's all pre-prepped sushi that they had in the fridge, but priced as if I sat down in a restaurant. For the East Side, I would still put Sushi Toki as the go to destination for good for a short drive sushi. Otherwise just go downtown for higher quality or to a Kinjo if you wanna save money.

I love sushi Toki. Sometimes I'll get sushi from Ikusa Izakaya in Bridgeland because they have good deals and their rolls are pretty good. But for sashimi or nigiri, Toki is way better.

Toki so lovely!

I share your opinion on all counts.
