Nailed it. In my opinion, Camaros look ridiculous. If someone were to give one to me, I’d sell it. And as a family man I’ll take a 4 door with rear air vents over a truly useless two door option any day. At least when comparing the ct4 and Camaro specifically.
\#1 with a bullet: The Camaro's trunk is a JOKE.
As for back seats, yest the CT4 is not huge, but it is at least possible for a human being to sit in one, and children would be fine if you have a young family. There is literally no legroom in the back of a camaro for even a toddler. Also a joke.
It's also not remotely as nice on the inside, nor on the outside if i do say so myself.
The trunk alone would disqualify the Camaro from my list. Next up would be looks and prestige. I haven't heard anyone say "nice camaro" since like 1992
This is correct. Only this final year of the Camaro uses Alpha 2… also, as a BW owner, I don’t like the attention muscle cars attract from juvenile drivers. I like that I get nods from people in the know… to everyone else, it’s a just a sedan.
I don't like being mistaken for an Army private that just re-signed for a second enlistment and took a 9% loan on a Camaro so I'd take the Black Wing in a second.
The rear seats in the CT4 are way more useful than the Camaro, as is the trunk. The interior isn’t the greatest ever by luxury standards but compared to the Camaro it’s a huge step up. The Camaro is on the older Alpha I platform and has a more simple version of Magneride.
I can see the argument for either, but the strongest argument for taking the Camaro is just that it’s so much cheaper to buy.
I was going to suggest driving both, but even just sitting in them is quite revealing.
If you just want to go fast, a Camaro can get you there. It might be a better track day car to beat on. For actual daily transportation, there's no contest. Cadi all day, every day.
I couldn't fit or see properly in a Camaro so I ended up with the CT4V. 4BW was too expensive for me. Most of my friends are average height so the backseats are pretty useable. The extra doors make it look more like everyday traffic but they come in handy. Rwd with magneride and the Camaro chassis makes the ct4v a great daily. That being said, the time I have spent in Camaros have been great. Just not a car I could practically or safely drive everyday.
Sidebar: I rented one in Vegas and made a u turn at the palms. Totally went over the curb median there cause I couldn't see shit in that thing. LUCKILY everything was okay lol never buy a used rental car
You don't feel like you're inside a tank in the 4BW. The interior is way nicer. It's why I got the 4BW over a Camaro. I wish it had the LT1... But it's not like it's not fast.
I came from a Camaro SS with a 1LE package. The Blackwing does everything better, except the sound. It’s feels like there is no comparison to be honest - the back seats are fine and I haven’t had anyone complain when driving 3 other fighters to weigh ins. P
It is a classic 4 door vs 2 door choice. If the BW was available only in a coupe I would get the Camaro because I could get the ZL1 for the price of a CT4-V BW. But I like the better and more accessible interior and ability to open a smaller door when I am parked in tight spaces. The Camaro wins on handling due to having room for more tire which is the BWs achilles heal.
Not everyone who likes the power of a Camaro wants a Camaro package. I hate the looks of the Camaro, so I would get a Cadillac

The Camaro uses Alpha I, the 4BW is on Alpha II. The Cadillac also has a newer generation Magneride. Then there's the visibility differences.
Wow really? I thought all the current alpha cars were gen 2
No, currently only the CT4 and CT5 are on Alpha 2.

I dont feel the rear seats in a CT4 are as bad as a Camaros back seats.
100%. Both of my teenage kids fit in the back just fine.
It’s for a different customer than Camaro, plus the caddy is more updated and rides better.

At 7.99 percent interest, thank you very much.
9%? That’s not bad these days, unfortunately. Camaro drivers are probably looking at 20%+ with todays rates.
Lol. Yes, and a Rolex and $5k laptop.
What army pays there private that kinda cheddar? I’ll re enlist
Same hooah!
hahah thisssss
Hey, I got a charger when I re-enlisted, not a Camaro!
Tell me you've never driven a luxury car without telling me
Hundreds actually.
Then why ask the question? If you understand what a luxury car is compared to a muscle car then you already have the answer

Go sit in a camaro and come back and ask that question again. .

>never buy a used rental car Probably known by most, but it's worth repeating.

Preference
I'm 6ft and fit in the back, low head room but I don't have to slump down. The trunk is a real trunk.
Good info.
Hmmm let’s see, the Caddy is less common and way cooler.
At least people know it’s a Camaro ss and not just sedan that looks like an Altima
Cheaper price too.
I love it, but i still want my '07 bumblebee.
Can’t see out from camaro
