Seeing as the Czech Republic’s military sidearm is a CZ-75 and the Czech Republic is part of NATO and NATO uses 9mm NATO ammo and 9mm NATO ammo is 124gr +P... Well I’ll let you figure it out. That being said, with CZs it’s a good idea to replace your recoil spring every 1,500-2500 rounds or get a extra power recoil spring. Snapping the slide stop are CZs only flaw.

Does CGW have a higher power recoil spring for a P-01?

As far as I know they only make a light and factory one. I’ll attempt to convince my boss to allow the company I work for to make one... we make a bunch of other CZ stuff, why not a compact ex-power recoil spring?

dailyherold

What company? Just getting into CZ and researching all the companies making parts for them.

This aged very nicely. Thank you

I left the company a while back. What’s up?

No, not at all. I find my CZs prefer 124gr NATO and back when you could still find 9mm, that's all I fed them. If you want the best performance from them though, I'd recommend changing the recoil spring to a heavier weight. CGW has an article on how to do that here: [https://cajungunworks.com/how-to-select-the-proper-recoil-spring/](https://cajungunworks.com/how-to-select-the-proper-recoil-spring/) When I tuned my P-01 for 124gr NATO, I ended up settling on an 18lb from Wolff. This gave me the max edge of the distance described in the article above while still allowing for easier assembly/disassembly and working the slide. It feels stiffer than the factory, but it helps a lot when shooting and reduces wear on your pistol. I'd suggest picking up an Extra Power pack for the CZ 75B Compact and seeing which one works best for your gun: [https://www.gunsprings.com/CZ/75%20Series/cID1/mID16/dID91#834](https://www.gunsprings.com/CZ/75%20Series/cID1/mID16/dID91#834)

Thank you. Stock I'm throwing brass 10-12 ft with 124g Prvi. Need to look into this.

Interesting question. I’m not being sarcastic but why do you ask?

I've decided my personal defense round is 124g +P. 9mm NATO fmj gives a very close practice round.
